Terms and Conditions
1.	Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
2.	The Promoter is Rebel Sport Limited A.C.N. 78 003 283 823 of IBC Business Estate, 
29-33 Carter Street, Lidcombe NSW 2141 (the “Headquarters”). 
3.	Entry is only open to Australian residents (the “Entrant”). Participants may be of any age. Children up to and including the age of 18 years must have their parent or guardian's consent to enter the competition, who are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions set out herein on behalf of the child and in their personal capacity as guardian or parent of the child. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
4.	The Competition is a game of skill, whereby entrants need to answer a question in 25 words or less to be eligible to go into the draw, with the most creative response the winner.
5.	The Competition commences at 9:00am (AEDT) on Thursday 11 October 2018 and closes at 11.59pm (AEDT) on Sunday 28 October 2018 (the “Promotional Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter within the Promotional Period.  
6.	The winner will be selected at 10:00am on Tuesday 30th October 2018.

Competition entry details

7.	To be eligible for the Competition, entrants must:
7.1	   agree to be signed up as rebel active members and a complete entry entails   
   entering all details into the following fields on the competition entry form provided:
- First name
- Last name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Address - Street number, name, suburb, state and postcode
- Enter their parent/guardian details (if under the age of 18 years); and,
7.2	   entrants with an existing rebel active membership need to register their details using the email address used to log into their rebel active account; and,
7.3	   submit an answer in 25 words or less to the question: "What Women’s Big Bash League cricket team are you cheering for this season and why?"
7.4   confirm they agree to the competition terms and conditions and that they a rebel active member or have signed up.
8.	If a response is over 25 words, it will be deemed as invalid.
9.	Entrants are permitted one entry to the Competition only (multiple entries are not permitted).


The Prize, Draw and Notifications

10.	The Prize is a WBBL Season Opening Weekend Money Can’t Buy Experience which includes:
10.1.	one (1) 2018/19 W/BBL season family club membership to the winner’s favourite team (‘Membership’);
10.2.	a $500 rebel shopping spree with a WBBL player; and,
10.3.	a cricket bat signed by the WBBL team captains.
11.	The W/BBL season club membership will be for two (2) adults and two (2) children only. No changes are to be made to this membership configuration. Additional membership can be purchased by the winner at their own expense. The Promoter will not organize or book any additional membership components on the winner’s behalf and accepts no responsibility for these components.
12.	The rebel shopping spree component of the prize is to be taken within 6 months of the prize being drawn. The location of the rebel store where the shopping spree will take place will be agreed upon by the winner and the Promoter. The attendance of a WBBL player for this inclusion is subject to player availability, pre and post the WBBL|04 season. Rebel and Cricket Australia will use their best and reasonable endeavours to engage a WBBL player to fulfil this component of the prize. The Competition winner will be notified of a player’s availability as soon as these details are available.
13.	The cricket bat signed by the WBBL team captains will be sent to the winner once all captains have signed the bat. Given season and player access restrictions this component of the prize may not be available until the end of the WBBL|04 season. 
14.	Total Prize value is estimated to be $1700.00 inclusive of GST.
15.	This is a game of skill. The entrant who submits the most creative response will be deemed the winner and awarded the prize. Judging will be conducted by Rebel Sport staff at the “Headquarters” where one (1) winner will be selected based on the creativity of the entry submitted. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
16.	The winning entry will be selected at 10:00am (AEDT) on Tuesday 30 October 2018 by Rebel Sport staff (the “Selector) at the Headquarters where one (1) winner will be selected. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
17.	The Promoter will notify the winner by phone or email on Thursday 1 November 2018. 
18.	If the winner fails to claim their prize within 24 hours of first being notified or the winner’s entry is deemed invalid by the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions, the winner is deemed to have forfeited and abandoned the prize. The Promoter will select another winner on Friday 2 November 2018, after the alternate winner has been selected. The Promoter will notify the winner of the redraw by phone and/or email on Monday 5 November 2018. If the alternate winner fails to claim the prize by Wednesday 7 November 2018 or the winner’s entry is deemed invalid by the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions, the alternate winner is deemed to have forfeited and abandoned the prize. The Promoter is not required to select other winners.
19.	The winner and their companions (if applicable):
19.1.	must organise their own arrangements with respect to carriage and transport to and from the match venues during the 2018/19 W/BBL season. The Promoter will not organize or book any component on the winner’s behalf and accepts no responsibility for these components;
19.2.	is responsible for all other expenses not included with the prize and unless the following are expressly included in the prize, the winner and their companions (if applicable) are liable for their spending money, meals, drinks, and all other ancillary costs.
20.	The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to redeem the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Prizes cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner accept the terms and conditions of use of that prize.
21.	If the prize is unavailable or otherwise unable to be supplied, the Promoter, in its discretion, may substitute the prize with a prize of equal value and/or specification, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.   
22.	Where the winner is a minor, the Promoter may then deem the winner’s entry as invalid unless the parent or guardian of the winner: 
22.1	acknowledges that they are the parent or guardian of the winner;
22.2	confirms that they are over the age of 18 years old; 
22.3	agrees to these terms and conditions in their own capacity and on behalf of the winner;
22.4	confirms that the winner has complied with the terms and conditions of the competition (as applicable) and will continue to comply with the terms and conditions of the competition to the extent applicable; and
22.5	indemnify the Promoter and Cricket Australia from and against any and all losses, costs, damages, expenses, liabilities and claims arising out of and to the extent that any of the terms and conditions of the competition are unenforceable against the winner or invalid because the winner is a minor.
23.	Cricket Australia reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change or amend the rebel Women’s Big Bash League fixture without notice. Neither the Promoter nor Cricket Australia accept responsibility for the cancellation or delay of any cricket match connected with this Promotion for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter or Cricket Australia.
24.	By entering this promotion recipients of the Membership agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with the ticket conditions which accompany any tickets used in conjunction with the promotion. Entrants also agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with Cricket Australia’s Ticket and Entry Conditions supplemented by conditions of entry imposed by the venue operator. The Promoter will provide the recipient of the Membership with a copy of Cricket Australia’s Ticket and Entry Conditions.

General Conditions

25.	The Promoter is entitled to verify the validity of entries and the identity of entrants/ winner(s) and the winner, and to disqualify any entrant/winner who submits an entry that is contrary to these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or the Promoter. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage is not a waiver of those rights.
26.	Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. 
27.	Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees or warranties. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and Cricket Australia (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, death, loss and damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to any liability arising from any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control; any variation of the prize value; any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or redemption or use of a prize.    
28.	If the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter is entitled to, the fullest extent permitted by law: disqualify any entrant; or subject to any direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition. 
29.	The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties and if required, to the Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.  
30.	By submitting an entry, 
30.1   you warrant and agree that:
30.1.1     all your entries become the property of the Promoter;
30.1.2    the entry does not infringe the intellectual property rights or moral rights of any third party;
30.2   entrants expressly consent to the Promoter and Cricket Australia using:
30.2.1    the entrant’s entry (either in part or in full), name, likeness, image and/or voice to be reproduced and/or published in any medium for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter’s business, Cricket Australia’s business, and any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or Cricket Australia; and 
30.2.2    their personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. 31.	The Promoter will endeavour to provide the entrant with an option to opt out of receipt of such communications every time the Promoter contacts the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
