Designed by Stewart James from Narrandera on Wiradjuri Country, the Sydney Kings 2024/25 Xavier Cooks Indigenous Jersey is a celebration of identity, history, and connection. The design embraces the stories that have shaped the Kings as a club, representing the people, places, and proud history of Sydney. Five meeting place symbols acknowledge the ancestral lands and waters of First Nations clans across the Sydney area, while swirling lines connect old and new stories. These same symbols also represent the Kings' five championships, adding another layer to the team's identity. Diamond patterns, inspired by traditional shields, symbolize protection, while continuous circular designs reflect Sydney’s diverse cultures, uniting all who stand behind the Kings. This jersey, featuring rich Indigenous artwork, tells a powerful story of connection to land, culture, and community.
