Competition Terms and Conditions

  General 
  1.	The Promoter is Rebel Sport Limited A.C.N. 003 283 823 (“Rebel”) Level 5, 1B Homebush Bay Drive, Rhodes, NSW 2138.
  2.	Entry in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
  3.	This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.  The winner will be selected by the Promoter based on a skill basis.  The judges’ decision is final.
  4.	The Competition commences on 12:01am (AEST) 5 May 2021 and closes on 11:59pm 10 May 2021 AEST (“Promotional Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter within the Promotional Period.  
  
  
  Entry Details 
  5.	Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years who satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
  (a)	each entrant must have a:
  (i)	live human child who is also an Australian resident aged between 10 years to 14 years as determined at 10 May 2021; or 
  (ii)	is an appointed legal guardian of an Australian resident aged between 10 years to 14 years as determined at 10 May 2021, 
  (“Eligible Child”),
  (b)	the Eligible Child must be a member of a Rugby League football club in the rebel community kickbacks network or member of a local community Rugby League Football club participating within the Competition;
  (c)	complete and sign the activity release and indemnity waiver provided by the National Rugby League on behalf of the Eligible Child,
  (the “Entrant”).  
  6.	The Eligible Child is deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that the Promoter and the National Rugby League will have no liability for any loss or damage (including personal injury) incurred by an Entrant and/or Eligible Child.     
  7.	To enter the Promotion, Entrants must: 
  (a)	visit https://www.rebelsport.com.au/competitions/nrl-magic-round.html
  (b)	register their details (including but not limited to) first name, last name, email address, Eligible Child’s name, Eligible Child’s age;
  (c)	confirm the time it takes for the Eligible Child to run 100 meters; and
  (d)	agree to these terms and conditions. 
  8.	Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  9.	There is a limit of one entry per person for the duration of the Promotion Period. 
  10.	Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission.  Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter.  
  11.	The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupt or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise.  The Promoter has no control over communications networks or services, the internet or computer or telephone networks and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them.  Any form of automated entry using any device or software is invalid.
  
  
  The Mechanic, Prize, and Notifications
  12.	The Competition will be staged as follows:
  (a)	on Monday, 10 May 2021, the Promoter will review select up to 10 different entries to compete in the rebel Running race held at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday 16 May 2021 during the Gold Coast Titans V Penrith Panthers match (the ‘Race’); 
  (b)	at the Race, the Eligible Child will be directed to their allocated position on the field by the Promoter; and  
  (c)	on the sound of the whistle, the Eligible Child will run against other Eligible Children to get to the finish line. 
  13.	The Eligible Child that runs and completes the circuit as directed by the Promoter and reaches the finish line first will be deemed the winner of the Competition. The judges’ decision is final no correspondence will be entered into.
  14.	In the case that an Eligible Child does not successfully complete the Race or there is a false start, the Eligible Child will be deemed disqualified and unable to compete in the Competition. 
  15.	At a maximum, and in the event of a tie, the Race will only be run twice, and under no circumstances will there be a third round attempted by the Eligible Children.  
  16.	The Eligible Child that wins the Race is deemed the winner of the respective Promotion and will receive the following prize:
  (a)	one (1) $1,500 rebel gift card for the winners Rugby League Football Club; 
  (b)	one (1) $1,500 rebel gift card. 
  17.	The Eligible Child that comes second in the Race is deemed the runner up of the respective Promotion and will receive the following prize: 
  (a)	one (1) $750 rebel gift card for the winners Rugby League Football Club; 
  (b)	one (1) $750 rebel gift card. 
  18.	The Eligible Child that comes third in the Race is deemed the second runner up and will receive the following prize: 
  (a)	one (1) $250 rebel gift card for the winners Rugby League Football Club; 
  (b)	one (1) $250 rebel gift card. 
  19.	The total Prize Pool is worth approximately AUD$5,000.00.  
  20.	The Competition winners’ names (including the names of the runner up and second runner up) will be published on the Promoter’s website https://www.rebelsport.com.au/rebel-active/competitions.html.
  21.	Entrants and Eligible Children agree to participate in any content the Promoter or National Rugby League wishes to produce around the Competition, and consent to the Promotor or National Rugby League using the winner’s likeness, image and/or voice in any media (including but not limited to photos, filming and social media posts) for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or National Rugby League.  The Entrants and Eligible Children agree that any content produced may be housed on the Promoter’s website (www.rebelsport.com.au) and Social Media pages including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  
General Conditions
  22.	The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to redeem the prize as stated. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accepts the conditions of use of the prize.
  23.	If the prize is unavailable or otherwise unable to be supplied, the Promoter in its discretion, may substitute the prize with a prize of equal value and/or specification, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. 
  24.	The Entrant being the parent or guardian of the Eligible Child must: 
  (a)	acknowledge that they are the parent or guardian of the Eligible Child;
  (b)	confirm that they are over the age of 18 years old; 
  (c)	agree to these terms and conditions in their own capacity and on behalf of the Eligible Child;
  (d)	confirm that the Eligible Child has complied with, and will continue to comply with the terms and conditions to the extent applicable; and 
  (e)	indemnify the Promoter and National Rugby League from and against any and all losses, costs, damages, expenses, liabilities and claims arising out of and to the extent that any of the terms and conditions of the Competition are unenforceable against the Eligible Child winner or invalid because the Eligible Child winner is a minor.
  25.	Neither the Promoter nor National Rugby League accept responsibility for the cancellation or delay of any match connected with this Promotion for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter or National Rugby League.
  26.	The Entrant and Eligible Child:
  (a)	must organise their own arrangements with respect to carriage and transport to and from the Race. The Promoter will not organize or book any component on the Entrant’s behalf and accepts no responsibility for these components;
  (b)	are liable for their meals, drinks, and all other ancillary costs whilst in attendance at the respective Race.
  27.	The Promoter and National Rugby League will provide each Entrant and Eligible Child with an entry ticket to all NRL matches played on Sunday, 16 May 2021 which they will take part in the Race at half time of the Gold Coast Titans V Penrith Panthers match. 
  28.	By entering this promotion Entrants agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with the ticket conditions which accompany any tickets used in conjunction with the Promotion. Entrants also agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with National Rugby League Ticket and Entry Conditions supplemented by conditions of entry imposed by the venue operator. The Promoter will provide each Entrant and Eligible Child with a copy of National Rugby League Ticket and Entry Conditions.
  29.	The Promoter is entitled to verify the validity of entries and the identity of Entrants/ Eligible Child(ren), and to disqualify any entrant/winner who submits an entry that is contrary to these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage is not a waiver of those rights.
  30.	Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees or warranties. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and National Rugby League (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability for any personal injury, death, loss and damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to any liability arising from any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; any reason beyond the Promoter’s and/or National Rugby League reasonable control; any variation of the prize value; any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or redemption or use of a Prize.    
  31.	If the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter is entitled to, the fullest extent permitted by law: disqualify any Entrant and Eligible Child; or subject to any direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition. 
  32.	The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties and if required, to the Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.  By submitting an entry, Entrants expressly consent to the Promoter using their personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Entrant.  Personal information will only be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy (http://www.rebelsport.com.au/helpdesk/the-legal-stuff/privacy-policy).
  33.	The Promoter will endeavor to provide the Entrant with an option to opt out of receipt of such communications every time the Promoter contacts the Entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
