Reworking the 2001 strip worn when the club became the New Zealand Warriors, it carries a broader sense of identity that speaks to a team for all of Aotearoa, not just Auckland. The richer red and black palette honours both Warriors history and the colours of Canterbury and Christchurch, while regional flags across the upper back reinforce the idea of communities standing together.
