On the second day of owning this the perspeck back board broke into prices I had to go and buy some plywood and screw it on for new backboard wasn’t real happy with product 0497631179 if you would like to reimburse money thanks

The back board arrived with a hole in box and smashed acrylic on the inside 44 inch

Perfect, sturdy, as described. Kids are loving it. May be worth considering a trade level installation service if not confident with instal. Instructions clear, but required some technical skill.

Good product and not to hard to assemble

Great quality. We could mount easily and my kids love practicing in the backyard.

I am normally the go to person to build flat packs or assemble kids bikes etc and consider myself good at it, however this product is on another level altogether. There are 2 instruction booklets which cover far too many installation scenarios as well as 2 different types of backboard. It is extremely hard to follow and caused hours of frustration. In the end I had to make the brackets and supports up to the best I could. The finished product wasn't worth all the work to be honest. We had to choose a smaller Backboard due to space restrictions, so we chose this 44". Unfortunately, the ring that comes with the smaller backboard is still full size, so not only does it look a bit odd, the square that the kids normally aim for during a lay up is out of alignment with the massive ring. I should have just bought the cheaper, non branded backboards on offer elsewhere but thought spending more and going with the Spalding brand would pay off but it didn't in this case.

Not what I expected. Disappointing that the colour is a dull gold shade, not gold like the pic. Instructions are terrible, and warnings on mounting it forced us to not use it in the end, but unable to return as box was opened. Called rebel for support- and didn’t get any helpful advise or support to put together. Buyer beware: there are laws on what you can attach it too, be much cheaper to buy one that’s freestanding.

After reading reviews, was pleasantly surprised at relative ease of putting it together and the quality. Hubby is handy so attached it to a second storey verandah post to get the correct height, he may have needed extra specific fixings. I like that you can see through the backboard, it doesn’t obscure the view. It seems sturdy enough, looks good and performs as expected. Kids love it and the whole family get outside and use it which was the goal. Would recommend.

Great experience. Took very less time to get this in store. They also loaded it in my car.
