The iconic Halo V2 Down Jacket from Macpac is a warm, compact all-rounder - perfect for urban adventure, travel, hiking and camping. Filled with 600 loft Responsible Down Standard (RDS) duck down and featuring elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem, this jacket works to keep you warm by trapping heat against your body.

The lightweight nylon outer and lining fabrics are bluesign® certified, with a short-chain C6 water repellent finish on the outer to protect the down from moisture. A separate stuff sack is included for convenient storage when packing your bags for the next adventure. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) is an independent, voluntary global standard in the ethical sourcing of down and feathers. All our down is 100% RDS certified. Similarly, bluesign® certification confirms these fabrics have been manufactured with the responsible use of resources.

Basically it hasn’t been very cold yet but it has been keeping me warm for now. Good quality it’s probably why it’s expensive but I got this on special so all good. Also got it due to my fav colour. It is true to size and has all the extras eg adjustable sleeve via the Velcro. Theres also a string to adjust around the waist. Best part hidden pocket inside. And we might need it when we get stuck rock climbing. 😂

I purchased this jacket oversized with the thought of layering but as the jacket is so warm there is no need for the under layers. Love it. Only negative is the logo is old looking

Snug as a bug in a rug. Feels snug and warm and I’m trialing it on my trip to NZ shortly. I would have liked a size up but it doesn’t come any bigger or they didn’t have any in stock I can’t remember! But with its warmth I probably won’t need so many underlays. Very light to wear, beautiful colours. Rolls up to a small carry bag it will be easy to carry if not wearing would fit in a Tote Bag be handy. and can’t leave it behind somewhere. 😍
