My husband got it for my birthday, I’ve been wanting it for a long time but I was afraid that it will be to big for my wrist but surprisingly it was perfect! I overall love it, and it meets my needs!

Love my new Garmin Venu3S

I have been purchasing Garmin watches for over 20 years. I wouldn't think of switching to another brand. I absolutely love the Venu 3S that I purchased last month. Health and fitness features are very important to me. This model does everything I need without being bulky.

Amazing Watch!

I have had my Garmin Venu 3s for a couple weeks and I absolutely love it. The battery life, sleep tracking, and my favorite feature is being able to program my own workouts in the app and be able to record my sets, reps, weight, and rest time all from my watch during my workout!

really nice for me

this is everything (so far) that ive expected in a health watch, there are a few things which I would have liked to be better for my taste. the 3S band for me is a bit on the short size ( its on the last eye but again to my taste i really dont care for the bigger watch face hense the 3S instead of the 3 but i cannot score down due to my taste. the other item (which is on me as well) I use an Elliptical everyday & a few times I have forgotten to turn off the timmer so in my report it appears like im on it for multi hours. wish there was a alert for inactivity. the features from walking (no running for me due to health issues) show the route that was taken i like a lot. this is my first Garmin watch (ive used garmin for several GPS units for the road & biking) & to this point am happy with my decision for this unit. just wish there band was a bit longer

Connect IQ (Garmin app store) doesn't work.

After getting my new watch connected, updated, setup, account registered, etc., I take the next step of installing Connect IQ so I can add apps and watch faces. On every app I see a note that I need the latest firmware to download the app. Which I have. After googling the issue I've discovered that this has been a known, ongoing issue for at least 9 years as of 2025. Known by Garmin development. I know it is hard to believe but it is true. Garmin cannot possibly be serious about selling this device with thos known issue unresolved for about a decade. Going back for refund. It's a shame because for about 10 minutes I thought I had found a meaningful upgrade over my Galaxy Watch. I'm actually still in disbelief that this can actually be an open issue. It's a fundamental usability issue.

Long learning curve

A Fitbit user for five years, I decided to "upgrade" to the Venu3S. I have found that it is taking a long time to learn about the features. Reading on my phone or watching YouTube videos is not my best way of learning. This I have found frustrating. I know that I am not using the device to its full capabilities.

Its beautiful... a bit thicker than expected.

The transition from fitbit to venu3s was not as bad as I thought. The running and GPS data is amazing. Finally it matches to the course distance and phone GPS. I do recommend maybe adding a screen protector it feels very delicate.

I made the switch from an apple watch and haven’t regretted it! While an apple watch is a a little more user friendly and to learn, the venu 3s made up for it with all of its features. The battery life is amazing and I love being able to download my music so I can workout without my phone. Plus I can still get all the same notifications I had with my apple watch, so I haven’t looked back

No step count, instructions or cust. service.

The only reason I thought this watch was that I wanted accurate accounts. When I received the watch, there were no instructions. After lunch research, I figured out about half of the functions on the watch, but the others were elusive. The watch would not count my steps on the treadmill. They sell it as stamps, but it doesn’t count steps. I returned it.

I’m eating a jar of pickles with my 32 ounces of water to see if I can avoid a headache today from running outside Every Saturday since I got this stupid watch (June, Houston) I have a headache all day bc I have to run outside for VO2Max reading. Without this watch I would never go outside between March-November. Sure, I look cool with the stylish face options and sleep band and I wake up already feeling accomplished by my sleep score. And I am really enjoying the nap feature, morning wake up alarm and tracking all my cardio and strength training in one spot. I should be hiding inside at a safe 72F but the VO2Max reading is such a temptress. Maybe pickles will help.

Great watch but not for me

I have always been an Apple girl. I ordered the Garmin Venu3, it has so many always features but not for me. It wasn’t compatible well with the health and wellness app I use. It was delayed and didn’t add steps correctly to the app. I did decide to send it back.

Golf GPS worked much better in my Vivo Active 4S

There are some very nice features, including a crisper screen that I can read better without bifocals. But, the golf app, my primary use, is much worse than my Vivo Active 4S. The distances often don't update as you move away from the tee box. It may even show the entire length of the hole as you are near the green. Shot tracking is terrible. Drives appear to go all the way to the green, despite second and third shots being recorded from the correct place. When distances do show correctly, they are usually 5 yds long. Also disappointing that it's not compatible with the CT1 sensors. Swimming seems OK, but doesn't recognize breast stroke. I'm hoping software updates will improve the apps, but at this point I miss my old Vivo Active 4S.

Have been using the venu 3 for a while now. Has everything that you need to track workouts/sleep/steps etc. Battery life is exceptional as well. Compared to the Apple watch I used to own this one is miles ahead and has a better look to it. Watch is easy to use once its set up.

Even Better Than Expected

In two weeks I’m more motivated than I’ve been in years. There are more features than I’ll ever use. But there are more features I use than ever before. I’ve been wearing a FitBit Sense for nearly three years and I’ve barely used anything other than its watch, SpO2 tracker, smart alarm, move alert, and sleep features. Perhaps because it seemed gimmicky, in spite of its accuracy. And I’ve never felt the desire to figure out and use the other available features. But it seems that my Garmin Venu 3S has added features that compliment the ones I was using on the Sense and its formatting is appealing to me. It challenges me to improve by giving me more detailed explanations and breakdowns of stats. I love the user interface, ConnectIQ, Red Shift, Body Battery, Glances, and too many other things to list. So much of what it offers is a benefit for me and I love the way it looks. I bought the Garmin Index S2 shortly after and I love the added features it brings and the integration with my Venu 3S. I’m taking my older smart scale that merely tracked weight and doesn’t sync to Garmin to my sister’s house for my long visits there. The only feature it lacks is a smart alarm. And because of that, I still wear my Sense to bed for that feature. It’s also enabled me to compare the two devices for accuracy with their SpO2 and sleep tracking. The SpO2 is always within 1%, except for the rarity of them being identical. It appears the Venu could be more sensitive with its newer sensors and tends to put more time sleeping into REM, where the Sense puts it into deep. The Sense puts more into awake, where the Garmin does light sleep. I have also compared the Venu 3S to a finger Pulse Oximeter and they run extremely close, and even more so over a timeline. I love my Venu 3S so much, I’ve even bought several watch bands to dress it up and mirror my mood. I do want to caution, I read that Garmin watches don’t work as well with leather straps, especially darker ones. But I’ve been able to resolve the issue by rolling and flexing the leather bands to loosen them up so they fit properly and allow the sensors to function properly. Without doing so the readings were always very low and didn’t come close to the Sense of finger Oximeter. Overall it appears I’m now as into the Garmin pipeline as I am Apple/MAC. And I’m seriously happy with that. Though I’m deeper into Apple, it’s only because I have more products (sans a watch). But integration, quality, features, representation of the product, user interface, etc … I’m hooked on Garmin. And I love creating watch faces.
