Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter is Rebel Sport Limited A.C.N. 78 003 283 823 of IBC Business Estate, 29-33 Carter Street, Lidcombe NSW 2141 (the “Headquarters”).
2. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. This is a game of skill. The one (1) winner who has entered the most creative response will be awarded the winner by a staff member of rebel at the Headquarters
4. The winner will be selected on Wednesday October 10th, 2018 at 9am.
5. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Participants may be any age and the guardian and/or parent of the child under 18 years old are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions set out herein on behalf of the child and in their personal capacity as guardian or parent of the child.
6. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
7. The competition commences Wednesday, September 19th at 9.00am and closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018. (“Promotional Period”).
8. All entries must be received by the Promoter within the Promotional Period.
The Prize, Draw and Notifications
9. To be eligible for the Competition, participants must agree to be signed up as rebel active members and a complete entry entails entering all details into the following fields on the competition entry form provided:
- First name
- Last name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Address - Street number, name, suburb, state and postcode
10. In order to gain an entry to the competition, entrants must tell us in 25 words or less what question they would ask their favourite Netball player.
11. If a response is over 25 words, it will be deemed as invalid
12. The Prize is as per below:
- 4 x tickets to the Fast5 weekend
- Get a tour of the change rooms and stadium pre match
- Sit on or behind the players bench pre match
- Meet and greet/Q&A with a player from the Australian Fast5 Netball Team
- Flights and Accommodation (Subject to Items 14, 15 and 16 herein)
13. Total Prize is worth approximately $1000
14. Flights included are from a major Australian City. Flights will not be included if the competition winner lives in Victoria
15. The promoter will provide 2 x nights’ accommodation, with additional stay to be paid for by the competition winner
16. Accommodation is only provided if the competition winner lives further than 100km from Melbourne CBD
17. The prize is to be utilized on the weekend Saturday 27th October, 2018 and Sunday 28th October, 2018.
18. If participant cannot attend the prize on the selected date, the prize will be forfeited and rebel may choose to select another winner who is available on the selected date
19. The winning entry will be decided on Wednesday October 10th, 2018 at 9am at the rebel Headquarters
20. The winner will be the entrant who submitted the best answer to the brief ‘what question would you ask your favourite netball player?’ and the decision will be based on the answer’s creativity, originality and enthusiasm.
21. The winner will be selected at the Promoter’s Headquarters by a team of the Promoter’s staff members.
22. The Promoter will notify the winner by telephone and confirmation email.
23. If the winner fails to claim the prize within 24 hours of first being notified or the winner’s entry is deemed invalid by the Promoter, the winner is deemed to have forfeited and abandoned the prize.
24. The Promoter will select another winner 24 hours after the first winner has been selected. The Promoter will notify the alternate winner by phone and email. The Promoter will continue this process until a winner is selected.
25. If any prize is unavailable or otherwise unable to be supplied, the Promoter may substitute the prize with a prize of equal value, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
26. The winner will be published on the website post event
General Conditions
25. Prize(s) cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
26. The Promoter is entitled to verify the validity of entries and the identity entrants/winner(s), and to disqualify any entrant/winner who submits an entry that is contrary to these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage is not a waiver of those rights.
27. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
28. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, death, loss and damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to any liability arising from any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control; any variation of the prize value; any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or redemption or use of a prize.
29. If the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter is entitled to, the fullest extent permitted by law: disqualify any entrant; or subject to any direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition.
30. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties and if required, to the Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.
31. By submitting an entry, entrants expressly consent to the Promoter using:
The entrant’s entry (either in part or in full), name, likeness, image and/or voice to be reproduced and/or published in any medium for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter’s business, and any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter; and Their personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. 32. The Promoter will endeavour to provide the entrant with an option to opt out of receipt of such communications every time the Promoter contacts the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
33. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
