This machine makes for a very smooth rowing experience. It sounds like a washing machine while rowing, but is not overly noisy so one will still be able to watch tv or videos without wearing headphones. Only drawback I have found is that the S4 monitor can sometimes be tough to read in bright light. It is fairly easy to put the rower together. My recommendation is to find and watch the installation video on YouTube as it is more user-friendly than the instruction manual.

Solid build and pleasant sound

While at the lower end of the WaterRower range I found it to the easy to assemble and solidly built. For storage it can stand perfectly upright requiring a very small footprint. The included S4 monitor is great as a standalone display but it could have been better if it had bluetooth to enable my heartrate monitor or mobile phone to talk to it. The sound of the water as I use it is relaxing and not the whine associated with other rowers I have tried. All up it was worth the cost and very pleased with it.

Love our rower. Easy to use and move around so it’s out of the way but never far when you need a quick workout. Fantastic low impact which is exactly what we needed with injuries. You know you’ve exerted yourself and feel better for it.

I was looking for a quality rower and came across the WaterRower range. These are great but like many things of quality, they are not cheap. The action is as close to being on the water than anything else. I've been using it plenty and can already see results in under a month. money well invested!

Had a minor hiccup with a piece missing but Rebel were onto it and got it delivered promptly-well done Rebel! This machine is awesome-works muscle groups I never knew I had and all with a silent, smooth swooshing of water-just as if you are going down a tranqul river on a misty morning! Highly recommend!

My first water rower or rower of any kind

It's a great solidly built rower that is nice to use, it did take 40 min to assemble and have the proper level of water in it to use but it was quite simple and had easy instructions. I've found that it's a very good workout , I started at 5 min 1000 meters and been slowly working on getting to 10 min 2000 meters, my hope is 20 min 5000 meters with cool down. Don't be fooled it is a great workout that will have you sweating by the time you finish. For me it's very nice and I injoy using it every day.

This tower is fantastic. Easy to assemble. Lightweight and can stand up and be moved out of the way. The water swooshing gives you incentive to keep going. The monitor is easy to use. You can track distance, time, heart rate, stroke rate…It’s suitable for the whole family- teenage kids, kids in their 20’s and not to be left out even mums! I am feeling super fit as a result of rowing combined with my walking. It was purchased during lockdown. We all love it! Buy one you’ll have it for ever and you won’t regret it.
