For the ANZAC day weekend, the Cowboys have collaborated with the North Queensland Australian Defence Force on the North Queensland Cowboys 2022 Mens Defence Jersey. The jersey design draws inspiration from the 1942 bombing of Townsville. AA Guns feature in the forefront, spotlights shine across the chest to four aircrafts flying in a starry night sky. The back of the jersey pays homage to those who have passed away defending the nation, with a silhouette of the Townsville War Cemetery, the burial site of 222 Second World War veterans.
