This was a hit on NYE, charged up the ball under a downlight, and rolled it off into our dark backyard to excited squeals from the kids. A glow-in-the-dark ball!! It's really THAT good!!

My grandson said he wanted a new basketball for Christmas, so I bought him this one. He was so over the moon with it. Last week his family was evacuated from their home due to a risk from a bushfire. His mum told him to grab whatever was important - he took the basketball and his new PlayStation controller! Guess that says it all. He is 13 years old.

The ball generates glow from light – the best way to activate the glow is to hold your phone's flashlights closely to the ball. This will activate the glow for 15-30 minutes depending on the light exposure. The overall green color of the material will be more visible at night regardless of the glow.
