flimsy joint

very flimsy joint between the base and vertical basketball post. During first use we had to gaffer tape it so it would stay up. Also, the base has these 'craters' in it which collect rain or pool water that then gets gross. Need to teach kids not to slam dunk as even with base full of water the thing will topple onto your head. Not good; 1/2 star

Good idea- wrong set up

Good idea but a bit cumbersome to put together. We ended up installing two hooks on the wall to attach the volleyball net rather than use the stands.

Net and basket ball hoop are good but should really be separate so that they can both be used at the same time. Tennis balls too small and hard for kids to play with.

Bought this for the kids for Christmas - the basketball was missing and the volleyball could not be blown up. The basketball ring snapped at the end point where it fits into the backboard. Certainly not worth the $130 as the quality was very poor.

Bought to be enjoyed by the grandchildren over the Christmas and New Year period in the pool. It achieved the aim and was much enjoyed by the adults as well. The volley ball was the most popular.

Very easy to set up straight out of the box. Have only set up the basketball ring at this stage. The basketball provided also is pretty good quality. Only negative i would have is to be careful using the locking pin behind the ring... once it's locked in - it's nearly impossible to remove without breaking it (which i did). And this locking pin needs to be removed in order to use the main arm for the volleyball net. Overall the kids love it and get plenty of fun out of it when they're both in the pool.

The overall quality is good but the locking mechanism at the base is useless to maintain the basketball ring in an upright position. It bends over and eventually breaks. This is our second one and this time we have used gaffa tape to lock the front down so it can't bend. Is working so far.

After 10 minutes the basketball ring was bent. Followed instructions. Absolute junk. DO NOT BUY THIS. Read other reviews. Rebel - shame on you for stocking such a poor item. Wahu - even bigger shame on you, ruined the kids joy this Christmas and you guys KNOW it is junk! Absolutely waste of our time and money. Would give it a zero if possible.

We bought this and as another reviewer said once it was in the sun for a few hours the basketball ring was rendered useless. Bent over as the plastic was of poor quality. When we contacted them direct they actually sent out another ring that was equally as bad so definitely not a one off issue as they first tried to claim. Wahu tried to say maybe we should keep it out of the sun. Ummmm it's a pool toy. Don't waste your money!

Very poor quality, do not buy. Returned and replaced first one from Rebel with no problem but now plastic basketball bracket on second one has snapped during assembly. Absolute rubbish, very poor design. Save your money and time.

Poor Quality and not worth the money

The hoop cracked as soon as we tried to assemble it and the basketball stand was wobbly even with the support bracket in place. Very disappointing for a Wahu product which are usually quite good quality. I think we may have had a faulty one as we have a friend who has one and their basketball stand is stable without the bracket in place. The Volley net worked well and the bats were good. It is just the basketball system that was poor.
