Tahwalhi Quad Fold Beach Cart

We haven't used the cart as yet, but we had the previous cart, same brand, and looks virtually the same for 2 years and used it a lot, we loaded it up plenty of times. But the handle snapped off where it connected to the trolley frame , and the new version has a different style of connection so hopefully that is nore robust. If this new one last longer than the previous trolley, we'll be happy.

Purchased for Bluesfest & was a great, helpful addition. Performed well in travel, compact when collapsed with wheels either attached or not. Having mild mobility issues, this cart was a fantastic help.

I did some research on the beach trolleys like most of us do and I ended up with this one as it already had good reviews and it was the size and price I was looking for. This trolley wasn't available in store anywhere in SE QLD at BCF (although Rebel had it for $199) so I ended up ordering online and paid $20 shipping and $140 all up but still a good price in the end. The trolley is large and sturdy. It is so far quiet when pulled and takes the weight well even with a kid in it. We haven't taken it on the beach yet as the beach season is basically over and just bought it a month back. We already have a SuperCheap beach trolley for around $60 which has done us well for several years, but every time you go in the sand, the wheels start to squeak afterwards, so a good clean and spray is required. I don't think our old one has proper wheel bearings. I can't comment if this Tahwalhi trolley will do the same, but hopefully with the bigger and fatter wheels the bearings won't get any sand in them. The other reason I choose this one was because of the quad fold. Our SC one folds flat which is great for the car we keep it in, but I wanted a quad fold as this was going in a different car and the flat fold would get in the way. I do like the quad fold, but it is a big trolley so folds up big, but the wheels easily come off so if stored separately that reduces the size a bit. It does take a while to take out the base, fold it up and zip up the sides, but you could be lazy and just lock it in place and not worry about the cover. I do have concerns that after frequent beach use the zips will fail and the cover will then be useless, so care will be needed to give it longevity, but this is just speculation. So at the end of the day I highly recommend this trolley. All I can say is, and this applies to all beach trolleys I have seen, the bottle holders are too small, great for a 600ml Coke bottle, but not for an insulated bottle which most people take to the beach, so that could be improved across all trolleys.

Base is flimsy. 5yr old was sitting inside, well under the weight capacity and it broke.

This was a great purchase strong and the best quality you would not be disappointed worth the money
