Good quality rubber, these fins are stubby and still compared to scuba fins which make them perfect for pool training. The speed boost these fins generate allow you to maintain lower body position and action through the water, leaving you free to focus on upper body, arms, and breathing technique. I have only tried these fins once, I’m confident the leg workout was more intense than my normal (longer) fins. However I had to take them off after 1km as I had significant pain radiating inferiorly from my left lateral knee. I’ve resolved to break them in over time, however these may not be the best choice for people with bad knees. I am a fairly strong swimmer, I’ve swum for ~ 45 years and still do ~ 8-10km per week.

Painful garbage

Was using these at the beach, great tight fit when dry but as soon as my foot was wet my toes would slide through the hole at the front, constantly readjusting and eventually lost one all together. I got less than an hours use before it disappeared into the sea, a waste of $60 and ended up with blisters on 4 of my toes for my troubles. Would definitely not recommend this product. Weight wasn't and issue for me.
