decent product but the bracket to install it onto the wall isn't great. The instructions are confusing and contradictory but once you've read them 20 times you'll learn to ignore them and just work it out yourself...

We had to replace a backboard for a full ring set we bought from rebel and the store and online assured me the new one we bought was a replacement board. The problem was it was a different fit and we have made it work but it was for a wrap around pole not the be we had with 4 hydraulic arms. We’ve made it work but not ideal considering this is an expensive product for the quality you get and given how much our family uses it.

Great value, backboard is good and what the description says, so much better than the original one we had. Bought it to replace a broken one on a movable pole set up and it came with all the brackets to attach to any way you want to mount it, great value instead of replacing the whole portable unit.

Spalding 52” backboard and ring

The backboard itself is very good quality, but because the bracket can be fixed to multiple types of locations the installation instructions are not great. This is a heavy object- It should be made very clear that the fixation needs to be very secure and guidance given about size of bolts etc. It also needs to be held in place 10 feet off the ground whilst it is bolted so really needs three people for that. Don’t try and do this in a hurry. That said end result is great. And 5stars to sales staff for help with selecting which one to buy.

Overall pretty happy with product, looks great, fitted to fabricated post, didn't use provided mounting kit. Self-tapping screws fitting the plastic protectors along bottom of backboard fraction too long, protruded through square tube frame, just on piercing the powdercoat of the inside frame square tube.

great hoop system. I have mounted it on a wall for the kids to play. They have hours of fun. The backboard rebound is passable, not as good as the real thing, but still true. The ring doesnt vibrate to much, so overall a great purchase, especially during these COVID times

Manufacturing issue with backboard

Backboard was warped. We took it back to the store expecting to be able to swap it out for another one. Unfortunately the whole batch suffered from the same issue so we were forced to take a refund. We have since purchased a different basketball system through Rebel. Left a message with Spalding Australia regarding the manufacturing issue and no-one has called me back. Its been two weeks.

Very nice once we got it up, but assembly was a bit fiddly - and instruction books showed two different ways to put it up. That said, there allow for many different ways to mount it to a wall/ post/ roof, etc.. My kids love it though, and it's quite attractive.
