Shape matters

I recently purchased two Sherrin Size 2 yellow footballs for my grandchildren.They loved the colour and the size was perfect for their hands. They were however disappointed with the pointed ends of the football.They said "The ball looked more like a grid iron ball compared to the ball AFL ball they use at footy practice.It was also tricky to bounce and run with."Grandpa flattened the ends of the footy on a hard surface and this slightly improved the shape of the footballl.
