The Sherrin Lyrebird Australian rules ball is made from imported leather using the same techniques as the Match and KB balls, the leather is stiffer and is not as high a grade as the more expensive balls, but after some conditioning you will find that the Lyrebird will still perform to ahigh standard.

Easy to kick, barefoot on the grass.

Love kicking this footy, it’s really easy to kick, the dog sometimes plays and tries to pick ball up in his teeth but hadn’t damaged ball. Can kick comfortably with bare feet too.

Don't buy a flat one

The first one I bought went flat within a day of pumping it up. Should have known based on it being flat in store. But they replaced it no worries. Wears pretty badly with use (the paint comes off) but still works well. Decent cheap ball

Good football on a budget

I purchased a red Lyrebird - size 4 (AFLW size) - as we use yellow Lyrebirds at training and I wanted to practice using the same ball at home. It's a good football - good weight and movement (doesn't float or egg, good firm or soft). Only issue is that I've only had it for about a month and taken it out for a kick on wet days and the water from dewy grass has caused some of the writing to rub off and the red colour has run. My white boots now have pink laces. We don't seem to have any issue with the colour running on the yellow ones at training - so I would recommend opting for yellow if you can. Good value for money on a quality Australian brand.

Best non match footy ive ever bought and its lasting soo much longer then all my other footys highly reccomended if you dont want to spend 100s of dollars on a match ball kicks soo straight and its comfortable to do hand ball drills love this product take it everywhere i go

How you can have a recommended retail price of $50 is beyond me. The printing and logos came off in the first 2 minutes of kicking.
