Great Substitute for a Functional Patterns RG Bar

I'm using this PTP Bar for a substitute for a Functional Patterns RG Bar. So far its been great. Well engineered works great similar to the Functional Patterns RG Bar at a far better price.

Useless

I had emailed PTP asking if this works with standard elite tubes without the platform. They said yes but didn’t have any examples of exercises to do with it, ONLY with the platform (plastic board extra $200). I bought this bar and realised the length of regular elite tubes renders this pretty useless. It’s too short for squats, shoulder press etc (I am 5’7) ) then too long for chest press on the ground, bench press, hip thrust etc. it can’t mimic 99% of barbell type exercises. It is awkward to use with the door attachment. Unless you plan on buying the overpriced platform to go with it (plus mini bands) this is pointless. If PTP can back up how great this bar is (without platform and mini tubes ) I’d love to know! Further I noticed the reviews below are incredibly similar to those on other PTP products on rebel and their own site. They potentially seem fake, would be great if rebel could look into that.

Used twice, already broken

Used twice, already broken and going to return. Way Better products on the market for the same/similar price. Buy the armourtech connection bar or the Ironedge chop bar. "But they're not collapsible and portable" you say? Better non-collapsible than broken imo...

The ability to attach cable to either end of the bar gives you access to multiple extra exercises that you can't do with a conventional bar.
