Make sure your door away is sturdy enough.

We didn't realise it had brackets that needed to be screwed in to the wall. I think you can use it without the screws but it's nice and sturdy now with the brackets in place. Nice grip, good so far.

Bar looks great and is solid but the handle bars spin which makes it very difficult to maintain your hang whilst trying to constantly find a new grip

Good quality but the grips needs to be smaller

Really good solid construction. So good that it buckles the door frames (lucky I only use it when travelling). But the bar’s grips diameter is to big for me to get a good rock solid grip on it and annoyingly my hands start to slip (and I have big hands). I just wish that the diameter was just a few centimetres smaller so I could get a good grip.

Great product, very secure. However, buyers need to be mindful that the pressure from tightening the bar can cause some cracking on the corners of the door frame.

Easy to install. Thick to hold

The pullup bar is easy to install. It doesn’t need the screws but is a bit thick. The part where you hold it is thick that is not confortable for smaller hands (I am a woman with big hands and it feels too thick, maybe good for bigger guys)

This product is a really sturdy and durable bar although as with most door frame pull up bars the shoulder width is quite narrow.

It’s good, seems very sturdy once assembled with the screw on sockets, but some slight cracking of door frame, so be sure to put it in a sturdy door frame. On the positive side, am doing pull ups a lot more frequently.

Holds strong-padding supports shoulder/close grip

Went up easy enough and is holding strong after 2 months of use. The gaps in the center are great as a runner for resistance bands in an assisted pull up. It will only suit a shoulder width, or close grip pull up though. You can use a wider grip but you will be holding the metal bars which are a lot thinner than the padded sections and are slightly uncomfortable.

This is decent - Ive been using this for weighted pull ups and its fine with only the rubber feet (90kg total). The pressure is so strong it actually deforms my door frame a little bit haha sorry landlord.

Our door frames are not strong enough to hold this properly, and have cracks in the corners as a result. The bar in the middle continues to move whilst using it if its not tight enough, and comes loose, spinning.

Good home gym addition.

Easy to install and set up. It's been enjoyable to use for pull ups and so far the door frame has been supporting the weight. Be aware that you actually screw in support slots into the door frame, so its not just a case of expanding the bar until its tight. The door frame does require some work done on it. It does loosen a bit over time so always check it before lifting yourself on to it.

Surprisingly sturdy and haven't had it slip out at all yet. Didn't use the holder bits that drill into the door frame to minimise damage to the frame. It stripped away the paint but it's up without holes.

I liked how easy adjusting the bar was and that it didn’t hurt my hands while hanging on. I also liked how versatile it is. However, I would’ve liked to know weather it needed screws or not before buying it to find out.

Thought this was great until it came off the doorway! Was mounted on very tight and slowly unwinds as it gets used. Before you know it you will be wearing it! Could have caused serious injury.

I use this bar for literally everything, it was super easy to set up and to change the height of the bar to help with different exercises. This bar is super contagious as you walk into the room and you might just do a quick couple and then you do another exercise this then leads to a full workout. This bar works so well that i had to take it down for a few days because i felt i was getting addicted. On a strong door frame this bar works perfect as i have had no issues with any damage. This was certainly the best $60 i have ever spent.
