Good but not great.

I bought these grips as someone who's never used anything like this; I wanted to increase my grip strength in day to day life. I quite like the 'soft' (neon) grip, it's not difficult to squeeze but becomes fatiguing quite quickly for a beginer like me. Which is good because it means it's working my muscles. Obviously I'm nowhere near up to using the 'firm' grip, but as others have said, a medium grip would be great to add to this pack as the 'firm' grip is a huge leap in difficulty from the 'soft'. Overall I recommend this, but for me I don't see myself ever using the firm grip. I also find I get a slight burning feeling on my hand from the friction. Also a storage pouch would be nice, as this type of material attracts lots of dirt.

The gradual build up of strength, esp in my fingers & wrist, showed after a couple of days - 10 of each exercise, twice a day. I am SO glad i made this purchase. After years of stress balls, rubber balls, grips etc, I can feel this is actually doing what I need it to do.

Comfortable in the hand, providing good support for the fingers while exercising them all. There is a large difference in resistance between the two rings. The soft one offers too little resistance for me, but I suspect would be perfect for injury recovery.

Grip strength trainer

Really good for functional grip strength. The roundness allows more use of the fingertips and thumb, opposed to a standard metal grip trainer!

Excellent hand exerciser

These hand exercisers are much easier to keep squeezing than a traditional ball and easier on the hand than spring with handles. If you need the strong black one, the yellow one may be too soft but they come in a pair and I hope to work up to the black one, eventually, Sigh !
