Nordictrack S45I NT20 Treadmill

I am a previous user of treadmills but not for some time, certainly not upmarket modern treadmills like the Nordictrack that I purchased, these were the old style treadmill super boring we just stood up and walked, super boring so eventually gave it up even though I actually found it quite convenient because being in Queensland having rainy weather for months and months on end very difficult to get outside and exercise particularly when working full time hours. I took a long time to buy the Nordictrack as I felt as though I couldn’t justify the expense. Well, The only thing I am sorry about is that I didn’t buy this treadmill sooner, how can you put a price on good health. I absolutely love it it is so easy to use and my gosh so much fun with the interactive screen it is so the opposite of boring. So many classes, so little time!! I he trainers are amazing, it’s honestly like having my own PT. I have done the recorded classes and also some live classes! It still feels like magic when doing a live class and the trainer tells you what they are going to do next and all of a sudden your treadmill does exactly that yet they are in America and I’m in Australia and it’s live. I find that whole process is just amazing and magical and just so much fun. One of the features I absolutely love it is that the iFIT tablet records all my statistics it records how many workouts I do records all my sessions so I can go back any time and see what I’m up to. I love the variety of the classes so if I’ve had a particularly long day and I’m not feeling as energetic I can just load up a easy walking session or if I’m really feeling it I can load up a high energy session. I also love that there are sessions that it’s not just about walking I’m also now learning to run and also toning sessions where we actually do body resistance training for your whole body. There are sessions that are quite educational about health and fitness and before you know it I’ve done a 30 minute walk around an amazing location and I have learnt heaps along the way. Very much enjoyed the fact that you could do a free month trial with the iFit program and after doing my free month trial I am absolutely going to continue on it’s not a lot of money every month really when you consider how much it would cost to go to a gym or hire a PT. In fact I think at the moment my Netflix subscription is more every month and what the iFit subscription is! The treadmill has an inbuilt fan which is also a huge bonus and I can control the volume level of music and as a bonus the volume level of the trainer on the tablet. My husband and I opted to put the treadmill together ourselves the sales person at Rebel was great explaining things to us on purchase and offered to give us the phone number of someone if we needed it putting it together is not difficult but it did take us a few hours so be prepared for either an entire morning or afternoon but well worth it. We found the process of buying it with Rebel very easy and the staff excellent to deal with. And yes this is a very long review and no I am not paid by Nordic track or rebel. :-) Just a very happy customer and now look forward to exercising every day.

Good reliable treadmill. Bit of a tricky set up. Does not save your workouts and the general settings are in miles Easy to use. Incline takes 20-30second to reach the highest but is a great workout all the same

Treadmill is great, i have owned this for 2 weeks now and found it has handle the incline, jogging, runnjng and walking well. I find the manual start (i.e not using ifit) very basic and painful having to keeping skipping ifit login. Apart from that i am loving it.

Very hard to understand and install the initial settings and software. It is only useful if you install the IFIT app because it is controlled by it. Without this you can not operate it. Also the main controler is very slow and not universal. Bluetooth is very hard to find on it and connect with. There is no pulse sensors you have to buy heart rate monitor belt separately. Belt is noisy.Waste of money

It is a great piece of equipment. Love how it can be plugged into iFit and you can be encouraged by a trainer whilst on the treadmill. One thing to note that it is quite bulky - I was surprised when it came out of the box!

Great machine but from what I have been told, it will no longer be available. Probably only 2 small issues, can't connect my phone via Bluetooth, and some work could be done on the iFit app to make it easier to navigate

It’s a good treadmill but lacks speed in changing incline when running the iFit programs. Perfect for the beginner or intermediate runner. As someone who runs 4-5 days a week, it probably would have been better for me to go to a commercial model that has decline also.

Just got this a week ago and the day it came, the fan wasn’t even working. Didn’t use it since then as I wanted the technician to come fix the fan but decided to try it out just to find out that the belt was loose and kept slipping at speeds of 8km/h and above to where I had to stop the treadmill. Very disappointing on first impressions considering you’re paying $2k +.

I bought this from Rebel Epping. Delivery was free but there was an option of assembly for around $160 which I took. Delivery and assembly was done within the week. It comes with a free month subscription to ifit. This is the main reason I bought this treadmill. I’ve had a NT before and it gave me 10 trouble free years before I sold it due to moving. Ifit has really advanced offering live fitness programs, challenges, exercise classes, mindset, yoga, walks all over the world etc. Single membership is currently $19 a month which is really cheap for all that it offers! There are occasional IT issues but the Sydney office is great to help with those. Ive done beginner classes and mapped my own walks so I feel like I am walking around Italy, Paris and Melbourne. The treadmill inclines when you reach a hill and it is interesting so you don’t feel like you are exercising. The fan is nice to keep you cool and I Bluetooth my earphones to the unit. There is no built in heart rate monitor which is a draw back, but it can Bluetooth certain brands. I use the 3rd party ‘Echo’ app to link my iWatch HR feature and that works well. Definitely recommend getting HR connectivity as the treadmill can adjust workouts according to your rate to keep you in fat burning zone or protect you from over exertion. The trainer led walks are informative and fun. The trainer remotely determines your speed and incline to ensure you push yourself. You can over Ride these easily, but I find it to be beneficial as I would be lazier without it 😅 I bought it for $1999 on special and say it is well worth it!

Beautiful, quiet machine with manageable setup process. Great size running deck, and only minor issue is that front deck cover comes back a bit far almost into the running stride zone. Overall, very happy.

Very happy with the treadmill. Although the set up did require some time, the machine is easy to use, with some great features. The IFit program is also great.

Reasonably easy to put together, runs well and has plenty of features. Need to have an iFit membership to take full advantage of the touchscreen though.

Fantastic price and the treadmill is perfect for the whole family. Easy to setup after delivery which was also fast. The programming on the treadmill is easy to use also having the manual setting for a quick workout. The speed limited range is perfect for the family along with the incline settings which are easy to use and quick response. The iFit program is also perfect for the whole family with the monthly subscription a bonus for accessing a fantastic range of workouts. The perfect buy for us as a family.

Good product though poor service by rebel sport to help fix an issue we are experiencing with ifit that came as part of our purchase.

Very easy to use, quiet. Easy set up. Love the iFIT feature but also use in manual mode - entirely the users choice. My husband runs on it regularly at 12-16km/hr and it handles it with no issue.

Excellent treadmill, great for running, walking, and super stable. The iFIT programming is great to keep it interesting and motivation up. Love that you can play music through it without the need for your headphones. I used the delivery and installation service offered by Rebel and that was also fantastic. Communications was prompt and friendly, installed and set up without a hitch and they even took the box away for disposal. Really impressed with the in store service offered by Rebel and it’s delivery partners.

I'm so impressed with this treadmill, I'm using it most days, love all the features and think it is great quality. My partner and I were able to set it up without problems. I have not joined the iFit subscription and just doing manual workouts so I don't think you need to join unless you want to.

We are very happy with the treadmill, and the ifit programme. Just as good as a gym treadmill.

Easy to use, runs smoothly. Speed and incline transition well. Running track width and length provide a good base. Feels very solid in structure and supportive. Easy to fold away and move when not in use.

What a machine! So happy with the quality of this treadmill. I was concerned with buying a domestic treadmill but this one is surpassed my expectations. I'm reasonably on the heavy side with almost 110 kg but this machine is a breeze. Both my wife and I use it regularly and most impressed. Well worth it! Loving the iFit component which I've never experienced before- the trainers are so great, and stunning landscapes!
