So disappointed!

Purchased bike after loving previous model (4.4 pro). What a disappointment! Firstly, the new model is much smaller and lighter. It wobbles when you ride it in a high gear and yes….I have stabilised it correctly. Doesn’t have all of the information on the console that the previous model had. You can either choose a mode or have the console scan through them as you ride. It sadly reminds me of a cheap, supermarket bike. I’m sure that NordicTrack saved a few dollars in the production of this model but unfortunately at the expense of its previous reputation for producing quality machines.

I use this everday as a great alternative to running, and it's very easy to keep active with the iFit trainers. Seat is a bit firm but you do get used to it. Would definitely recommend.

Found the Nordictrack GX4.5 NT20 Pro Exercise Bike to be better than expected. I researched a whole lot of other excersise bikes, some cheaper and some much more expensive but this one is best value for money.

Good exercise bike, but couple of things to mention. 1. The power plug hole on the bike’s plastic body is not in the right location, need large the hole to plug in; 2. The bike is not designed for short people, even at the lowest level, still high for my mum (160cm); 3. The seat becomes loose after 30mins, easy to tight up again 4. The handles will become loose after few days; 5. Cannot connect to smart phones via Bluetooth( Bluetooth is only for the fit app)

Worth the little bit extra $

Firstly I'm 6'4" 105kgs, I researched heavily and after sitting on my last three choices I correvtly chose this machine. It holds my weight with ease, no wobble at all in the seat support. The seat is easily adjusted up or down and in the saddle so ride comfort is high. The seat is firm but has softened over a few weeks of use. The flywheel is incredible, resistence changes are instant and dramatic. I've not gone past 11 and not sure I could. Between 5 and 10 (out of 25) is perfect for my absolute novice cycling fitness level. Assembly took me 40 mins by myself, it is fiddly but easy enough. The instructions are very clear apart from the seat adjuster which was solved by watching a video. The arms are the only negative on the physical aspects as they are very high and the ride position can be more upright than might be found comfortable but this is a very small thing. IFit is the other slight negative, the app is rubbish bit when it works it is good. I got 3 months free subscription so will use and cancel once done. Highly recommend this bike.

Worse bike

Had to return it because the resistance band was not working probably, the resistance was not changing and stuck on the one setting. Tried reassembling, but still did not work. I wouldn’t even bother with this model, it weighs a ton and it’s not worth the risk and time.

Absolutely unimpressed with this machine, spent a whole hour putting it together and connecting wi Fi, done a full workout, got up the next day and nothing, still fat, looked at all the brochures of fat people using this machine and next thing they have muscles and abs, all I got was sore legs, have to return it and get my money back, maybe I'll get one with a motor, so I don't spill my beers so much

Overall the exercise bike is quite good. I am however disappointed with the friction/difficulty level. With 25 levels of friction, you'd think that the difficulty level at 1 would be rather low and increase slowly to cater for people with all levels of fitness. This one however is quite difficult even on no 1. That is okay for a short session, but is I wanted a long 1 hour session to burn some calories, that won't be possible. Secondly I still haven't been able to register the product for warranty because the methods listed in the instructions didn't work. Haven't tried iFit on it yet, so can't comment.
