So weak, the sole comes off very easily so be wary If u run on anything other than road maybe even dirt would be dangerous for these, sole is very very soft and comfortable but extremely weak

Don't do in Women's true sizing

Disappointing these aren't available in all women's sizes (aka starting at 2.5). I am a size 5 so will never be able to get a pair despite them coming up when filtering for 'Womens'

Terrible Durability, Energy Return, and Upper material

The durability of this shoe is terrible. I wore it for 1 speed workout and my 3k race today and the foam is already detaching from the upper. On top if that, the upper material near the forefoot foot is very scratchy and cheap. My feet had many scratches and was bleeding after my race (have pics). The energy return is also not very good. Would not recommend for racing.

Use these in rotation with the Tempo Next, on the treadmill, and they're awesome Slipping in these feels extremely comfortable. Only minor gripe is shoelaces that are a tad bit long. Great for treadmill tempo runs.

Comfy and good for even surfaces

Got UK size 6&1/2 which felt a bit short so went up to size 7 so lengthwise is fine but feels too wide across the toes and can’t be pulled in enough using laces. Feels like they should be more fitted and maybe with a bit of stretch to feel supported. There doesn’t appear to be much support and my first run I was slower as I was tentative about rolling my ankles. I would only wear them on flat surfaces. They are comfortable though and I didn’t feel as achy or sore as I ran or afterwards.

Not my type of running shoe not for everyone

Very light and comfortable, but not my kind of shoe I personally like to be able to feel the ground and to have more foot and able stability, the material the shoe has that covered the top and around the foot and ankle does not provide that feeling of support. The material made my toes blister aswell. I only ran 10 miles in them but that was enough for me to know that they were not for me.

People will steal these.

These shoes are so great that they were legit stolen out of my closet by a maintenance technician. For a racing flat, they are surprisingly cushioned but still give great return for short speed and tempo work. I ordered two new pairs to replace my stolen pair. They can't take them all! (For sizing reference, I purchased a men's 7/women's 8.5 as Nike tends to run small. I typically wear size 8 in other brands of running shoes.)

Retiring my first pair after 175 miles of tempo runs and speed work. I really like the road feel and more subdued energy return for training purposes vs the tempo next. I'll be sticking with streakfly for my next speedy shoe.

The Return of the Streak Light

I love this shoe - it reminds me of my favorite racing flat of all time, the Streak Light. Narrow fit for skinny feet like mine (even in a 13), and the softness of the Pebax is just what my knees and hips need at my advanced age. The perfect racer for someone who doesn't want the bulk of a VaporFly for a shorter race.

Light and Flexy - Zoom Elite 9 re-born

TL:DR -->. this shoe feels very similar to the last iteration of the Zoom Elite 9. Light and flexible, pretty soft underfoot with good return. If you are 175lbs+ you may feel some bottoming-out sensation running downhill or if you are a heel-striker. Definitely best for an efficient runner with a mid-foot strike. Very flexible throughout the foot, so you don't get the same rockered rolling push-off like you get in the carbon plate shoes like the Vaporfly or Alphafly. Maybe a hair soft for my liking on the track, but I've always preferred a firmer shoe on the track. In terms of fit, it locks down nice in the heel, has a nice wide toe-box, and the laces seem to grip. Set it and forget it. Seems like a great 5k shoe or half marathon show, although I'm not sure there is any benefit over the Vaporfly at those distances, where the VF probably is easier on the feet. Great speed day training shoe and i'll keep rotating it in.

Best. Shoe. Ever.

Just amazing. My favourite shoe and by a long way. It’s just so much fun to run in. Definitely my “desert island” shoe. The Vaporfly is faster, but I don’t care, this is more fun. It makes you run, with the work coming from your legs, it’s not an easy pace shoe, as soon as you start, you’re away and it’s fast! Disappears on my foot, I can feel everything on the ground, surface texture, stones, cracks, but none of it hurts, I just know it’s there. I use these for interval and tempo work, and currently it’s my 5K pb shoe, but I think I’ll go faster in the Vaporfly. It’s a little too fragile for long easy runs but that doesn’t matter because it doesn’t let you do easy anyway. The next day, your legs know you’ve been out in them, so personally I think it needs to be in a rotation and I’m still trying to figure out what the daily shoe is. It could be the zoom fly. This is my guilty pleasure, always feel a bit naughty when I put them on, I know I’m in for a selfish treat.

Not a lot of miles in these ones.

I loved these shoes when I took them out of the box, but I cannot recommend them. They might work as race shoes, but only if they're seldom worn. I received these shoes in late April, and used them as my everyday shoes. The heel plates started to separate from the shoes pretty quickly, in a couple places. I contacted Nike, and they were awesome. I sent the shoes back, and got a new pair in a couple of weeks. But the replacement pair is already starting to separate as well. In about six weeks of usage, two pairs of this model fell apart on me. To be clear, these are not my running shoes, just my normal, wear to work, walk around town, shoes.

Light, highly cushioned and comfortable. This is shown as a racer but makes for a great daily trainer. The exposed Zoomx foam can break down easily but will not compromise the shoe. Great for treadmill/ track running. On my 3rd pair since launch. Noticeable decline in performance after 250 miles.

More than just light

They are very light, and you almost don't feel them on your feet. I ran a few halvmarathon with them without any problem, so they can do more than just 5 and 10K. They give a good response, but not as good as vaporfly. A nice buy though!

Run in vibram 5 fingers, looking for trainer to give feet break on easy runs, these are the most wide and comfy I have tried toe box so roomy great foot splay, altras ,topo ,vivo, don’t even come close to these in how roomy, these are not as they are marketed fast 5k shoes better for long easy runs, no secret they are slower than alpha fly which is why you can pick them up cheaper which makes them a fantastic value shoe for daily runs , easy runs, tempo, superb trainer well done Nike not many comfier I have come across

Fast, faster...fastest?

Featherweight racer / trainer. Nike are marketing this as a 5k & 10k racing shoe but I think they are off the mark. If you have these and Vaporflys and a 10k race coming up, no contest, you will race in the Vaporfly. But....if you have a 6 x 1 mile road interval session or a 5k tempo run then this Streakfly wins hands down. I would also choose it for a mile road race (we have quite a lot of these in Portugal). It's super fast, super light and you can still feel the road, simply brilliant. When you pick up the pace you will love it Now Nike, put a nylon plate in it and make a Streakfly GT, you would have a world beater

I don't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes. Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2's, vomero 16's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light. First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. The cushioning felt squishy like I would bottom it out under hard running. First run, they felt fine. Lighter, more nimble than my usual shoes. Cushioning felt adequate for a short distance. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race. 5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I'm not the fastest guy out there. 8:35 miles. Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I don't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I'm not sure if the wear will show. Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade. I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I don't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

Great initial shoe with no durability

This shoe was awesome on my first few runs, but the quality was very disappointing. The sole of the shoe started to come apart after only a few runs. This is the second pair of racing shoes from Nike that I’ve had do this, so I guess the comfort and bounce comes with a major decrease in durability.

I have ran in the NEXT% and am a competitive runner that has ran in numerous nike shoes and these are by far the worst. I was really excited to try these shoes when they first dropped and was disappointed. First off the upper is not good fitting. Having a wider fit to the shoe the upper creases every time you step and causes a lot of discomfort, as well as causing blisters every time I've ran in them. Secondly there is no arch support causing a lot of pain if you wear for longer than 30min. As I love that is a mix of the old streakily and NEXT% it was a major let down.

Really like these

These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10-15 miles without issue. I've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they're still going strong. Wishing they'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples and whatever, but I'm sure in time they will. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

I received a pair of these running shoes as a gift and first impressions were not good due to the awful colour. In terms of performance they're faultless, very comfortable and run true to size. No issues to report other than the colour 'Hyper Voilet'... come on Nike some better colour options please!
