There's no secret to Sabrina Ionescu's success. Her game is built upon a relentless work ethic, putting in rep after rep in the gym to perfect her craft. The Sabrina 2 are engineered for athletes to follow in her footsteps. Dual-layered Cushlon foam for the midsole and Air Zoom technology in the forefoot keep players feeling fresh and fast. S-Traction underfoot allows direction changes on a dime, creating distance from you and your opponents.

Features
  • Purple design draws inspiration from Sabrina's court vision, her ability to read the defence and stay a step ahead of the game
  • Fragments around the Swoosh design are an ode to the proverbial glass ceiling Sabrina continues to smash through
  • Embroidered S's on the back half of the design pay homage to the dream-weavers who continue to strive to do more
  • A dynamic internal midfoot containment system and stitched cables create next-level containment to keep you in command of your game
  • Dual-layered Cushlon foam in the midsole stacks the top layer with an all-new softer Cushlon for superior comfort
  • An Air Zoom unit sits the forefoot, delivering responsive pop for fast moves
  • Modified herringbone traction dubbed S-Traction on the outsole delivers traction tuned for stop-and-go swerves and sharp cuts

I've haven't rolled my ankle in 5 years playing in mid cut shoes. Maybe it was the switch to low cut but it's almost every time I play in these. Nike logo also started peeling after first wear

My current favorite hoop shoes but…

I purchased the Nike ID Sabrina 2s last August. It has been my go to when I hoop (2x a week, indoors). Current play style imitates JJ Redick (running around, catch & shoot) or Lonzo Ball (rebound & fast break passes). This is just to give you an idea of what the shoe goes through. I am not that good to be compared to them, just the style 😂. Right out the box, comfort & fit both perfect. Not too soft, not too tight. Grip on a semi dusty park gym is better than the Lebron 20s (my previous favorites). They also feel much lighter than the lebrons, though that doesnt affect my game too much since im older & play much slower now at 33. One test I like to do with all my hoop shoes im not sure others feel is the lacing. My lebrons i always have to relace to get the right tightness. These Sabrinas, i lace one time & i dont need to adjust again. Maybe its me but thats always been an issue since I’ve started wearing lows from the kobe 4s days. The only real cons for me (which is why I am returning the shoes & trying another) is that the materials on the sides ripped for me (as well as the front ankle lacing area). The ankle laces area is normal for me on every shoe but for the mesh area to rip is new & i dont want to have to worry about my foot going through if for some reason I want to show up against the youngins. I dont heal like im 20 anymore 😂 Nonetheless, I would still recommend most to buy! Maybe I got a one off but i guess this gives me a chance to try another pair & continue wearing my 3 pairs of lebron 20s haha. Pros & cons of every shoe but durability is big for me since I dont want to buy new shoes every 6 months

Lightweight with a solid grip. Ankle protection could be better, but overall, it’s one of the top basketball shoes of 2025 so far.

Nike swish peeled right away

The Nike swish started peeling off within 3 weeks. Tried different methods to glue it back down as we had started the season. Now the other shoe is going the same thing. Also the mesh on the sides are tore up too. It didn’t take much for the shoes to fall apart. Basketball shoes need to be made well as there’s so much movement in the game.
