[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KD17 is an all around great shoe! I was really impressed with the comfort and fit of this model. Wore it around casually and even played a game or 2 of basketball with them and both didn't disappoint. The KD17 feels very durable and sturdy. It has a really good grip and materials are perfect! The height of the shoe is my favorite part as it is not to high like most high top basketball shoes but not to low like a low top shoe, giving me a good ankle support. Will definitely look into getting another pair of the KD17 and will ups recommend this model to anyone in need of a good basketball shoe.

Look Good Play Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have many expectations with this shoe but i'm happy to say that these are pretty good. The traction is solid. I don't find myself wiping often and the outsole seems like it will last awhile playing indoors. I got these in Blue/White which look great; I often get questions on what these shoes are. One thing that can be improved is the lockdown. For a shoe that's not a true low-top, these feel a lot lower on your ankle.

Solid Indoor Ball Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KD17 takes inspiration from the Air Max Plus, which is what makes this basketball shoe one of the most attractive pairs in my current collection. It did not take much court time before the TPU overlays started to break in, while the mesh upper was very breathable and forgiving during gameplay. The translucent outsole pattern provides excellent traction on both indoor and outdoor courts, though I'd highly suggest sticking to indoor courts for more durability over time. My explosive playing style requires a shoe that can provide enough cushion and support, and this shoe does just that. While I am more used to the traditional low top shoe for hooping, the ankle collar on this particular shoe does not feel restrictive to the point where it compromises my lateral mobility. In terms of sizing, go with your normal true to size. At this price point, the KD17 is an extremely attractive signature basketball shoe that performs well and adds a nice retro touch.

For the hoopers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are made for the court! These are my first KD's and they do not disappoint. I feel like I can jump out the gym. My first thought when I slipped them on was that these feel amazing. The fit is perfect and comfortable. The fit is so spot on that I can probably play in these without lacing them up. The stylish look means a more confident game which means more buckets. I think the small initial details are really cool! The only thing I would change about these would be getting them in all black lol!

Initially I was only going to wear them as a workout/basketball sneaker but they were so comfortable that I ended up wearing them during my daily errands. They fit true to size and are very form fitting, I honestly believe that Nike Basketball has a winner with this particular model and I’m looking forward to seeing the new colorways down the pipeline.

Made for a baller in training

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KD17 did not disappoint my tween athlete. When they arrived, my son was immediately thrilled to try them on. After slipping them on, he said the fit was what he was hoping for, since some of his other basketball shoes have run smaller previously. The color way is perfect as it is his school colors and the use of multiple fabrics gives the shoe so much dimension. He states that they are extremely comfortable with a lot of ankle support since he has narrow feet. He felt fully supported when jumping and going for lay ups, which other brands have lacked in the past for him. After a week of daily wear, I asked if he had any complaints and his only criticism is that the laces are more flat which come untied more easily than the round thicker kind. These shoes have become a favorite of his, and are perfect on the court and for a casual outdoor game.

Little penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i cracked open the box on these KDs I was amazed at how good they looked. The white and blue went perfectly together and are dubbed "Penny Hardaways" based on the Orlando Magic colors it has. I love that the side paneling has the blue rubber design from another great shoe which is the Nike Air Max plus. The rest of the shoe has a sof but durable knit material which is white in color. The sole has your typical herringbone tread pattern which has proven to be great for years. This is my 5th KD shoe and first since 2013 when i purchased the KD 6 and honestly its probably the best looking shoe since then as well. I would trust these on the court even if KD has fallen off it definitely isnt the shoes Money!

The fitting is very good. Amazing product. I would 10102929% anyone between the ages 0 and 122 to wear these. Amazing cusioning. I can’t wait for the venom color ways to come out! Also just a quick thing, could you guys also make the championship colorway. The one with the New York knicks won in 2026. With kd being the mvp

Not the biggest fan of KD but a HUGE fan of his shoes. The KD15s were great. I have been playing in the 16s for the last 4-5 months great shoes. I expect nothing less for the 17s. The comfort has been excellent, the quality of the shoe , and most importantly they grip the floor terrifically.
