The design celebrates the energy and excitement of '90s, an era that KD fell in love with the game.

Should warn about fit

This are not true to size at all, people who say they are crazy! I am a M12 W if I can get it, for these I went 12.5 normal width. My toes are just right, no free play at all. The width is NARROW not normal at all! They are comfortable but I am not happy with the laces length either, so will need to decide to keep or return.

Solid grip, comfortable fit, good support fairly lightweight. My son is a power forward and thinks these are the best shoes he's worn... so far!

Well Rounded Bball Shoes

Ive only worn these shoes a few times, but so far they've blown me away. Traction is definitely the standout characteristic for me so far. I've owned a lot of bball shoes over the years and these are the best can remember in that department. Outside of that they seem to just do everything well. They are comfortable, they seem durable, good support, not too heavy, and just overall a very well rounded shoe for all types of players. Would reccomend.

Most comfortable KD yet?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most basketball shoes I get are too narrow in the toe box and on my arch, but these ones are different. The KD17 caught me by surprise with its comfort and the style is so fresh. With the fine details of his Easy $ nickname, to the signature on the back and the fine mesh material on the front, these just might be KD’s most comfortable and best basketball shoe this year.

Brought this for my son and when he start wearing it, he loved it. He said that it was comfortable and big in the toe box area. He thought it was going to be small for his big feet. Recommend to buy.

Durable Low Basketball Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is one of the better Nike basketball shoes I have tried in recent history. The fit of the shoe is true to size but a little narrow in my opinion. The material will stretch to your foot a bit if your foot is a little wider, but the cage over the knit material does limit that a bit. The shoes feel phenomenal as most KD shoes do. Very good support, good cushion, but also the right amount of support. They’re a perfect indoor or outdoor basketball shoe. While the shoe is more of a “low top” basketball shoe, it feels a bit higher than some previous low top models. Personally, this was nice because it provides extra stability in the ankle without sacrificing flexibility and agility. The fabric and cage construction does a good job of keeping your foot contained within the shoe and over the sole, especially when planting. For the most part the shoe has been used in an indoor gym setting, but when outside it has held up well. Over time, the knit material on the toe could wear if predominantly used outside. Compared to previous KD models, I really like the higher support in this shoe. It would have been a good addition for a more durable toe covering material in my opinion.

Shoes fit well just like the kd 16s, but with way better traction. They look amazing too! The 15s were really good it was just the heel slippage. The kd16s were the best fitting as NIKE fixed the heel slippage but the traction wasn't as good as the 15s. The traction and the fit are amazing on these(kd17s)

Why are basketball shoes so small now??

KD 16 zoom air is better. And these are NOT true to size unless your feet jacked up and crooked. I went .5 up. Whole size up if you like your toes, lol. Honestly outside looks good, but inside is what matters and that was skipped on this Orange pair.

KD’s in 3 languages

Got the sunrise KD 17’s. Ever since I got my first pairs of KD’s (15’s “Hip-Hop” & “What The”) I’ve been copping most of the 16’s, 1 pair of the 14’s and now the 17’s. I really dig all their designs and the 17’s are no exception. Comfort is MOLTO BENE!! The fit, CHINGON. Design is VUNDABAR! I personally really like them

Heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately when these arrived to my address I was out of town so I didn't get to fully test them. Upon trying them on, the fit was perfect and true to size. The color of the soles are stunning. That blue is a nice touch and complimentary to the other colors within the shoe. The only bad thing I can say about the shoe is it's really heavy for a low top shoe and I don't really care for the arrow like design features on the sides. Overall the shoe is comfortable standing and has some beautiful colors throughout the scheme.

KD Air Max?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Already having a pair of the KD15s (underrated), I was excited to get a pair of the 17s after seeing a mock design of it last year. It definitely gives off Air Max vibes from the design, specifically the plastic components on the sides of the sneaker. Material on the upper seems pretty similar to the 15s and appears to be durable enough. Not much of a fan of the Penny color-way though. The simple blue and white gives off the impression that it is a Team (budget) version of the shoe. As for fit and comfort my feet were definitely secure with ample space in the toe box. Heel slippage was almost nonexistent while moving and cutting which is a must for me. Traction from the design of the sole is good for the indoor courts I play on. One complaint though is the change in Zoom cushioning (which is still ok) in the heel between the 15 and 17, which I think started with the 16. If it was consistent the front, this would elevate this shoe to a 5.

KD 17 penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KD 17 Is an all-around great basketball Sneaker, lightweight and breathable material.. has a nice thick sock liner for comfort and gives your foot a real secure feeling for quick movements while playing.. extremely comfortable almost no leg fatigue after hours of running around.. Does feel a little bulky at times in the mid area, will serve great for those with wide flat feet. Extremely durable will last years. would recommend mostly for indoor courts

Amazing Basketball Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An amazing shoe to play basketball in. The KD17 is extremely lightweight and for a low cut shoe, it feels extremely supportive all around. I was worried about the ankle support, however, it holds up just fine. The design is also really nice. Like the contrast of colors. It’s subtle and not too gaudy. Overall, an amazing basketball shoe and my favorite KD yet.

KD 17 Review 1.0

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the period time that I have worn these on the court practicing and playing basketball, I found that these KD’s are really comfortable and ensures my feet feel secured. The responsiveness I’ve experienced while wearing these have been really nice in my heel. The sock line of these feel very comfortable with wearing longer socks. I do like the color blocking of these, I think it would be nicer if these came with either black or blue socks… just because I like more color on my shoes than others. They look very cool in my opinion and the design is nice! I’m not sure how others would feel about wearing these off the court, but I do like how they look with sweats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kevin Durant 17 is an excellent shoe for indoor or outdoor basketball! True to size fit and the feel is superb with great traction comfortable ride for sprints and jumping. Breathable light materials mostly covering front top and side panels of the shoe. I love them I have improved my game by using the KD17! Really it’s hard to find something I don’t like about them I enjoy them so much that you won’t regret buying them!

New KD basketball shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The latest offering from Nike and Kevin Durant, the KD17. The shoe features a very eye catching design, with a streak style pattern on the uppers. The traction pattern on the bottom are very durable for indoor and outdoor playing. The cushion on the midsole is very bouncy and comfortable. If you're looking for a basketball shoe and you are a fan of Kevin Durant, these KD17s are a must cop!

Fresh take on a classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot times I feel like basketball shoes aren't a true to size fit for me, but this was not the case for these. They are snug enough to run around in without slipping but not too tight on my wider foot to cause discomfort. I really love the design of these. I'm a fan of the Air Penny's which these pay homage too with the cracked swoosh and the Orlando Magic color way. On top of this, I really enjoy the side profile of the shoe in general. I think that it's just really slick. In terms of the fabric it's nice and breathable/lightweight while also still managing to feel durable. The rubber on the bottom is also really nice for not slipping around. I think that overall this is a great shoe with it's amazing color/design being my favorite. If I could change anything about the shoe I would probably just add a little bit more cushion to the heel!

The best KDs yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a few KDs in the past and I ended up returning some because they felt cheap and plastic-y. These are by far the best version and the blue/black/white colorway has to be the best too. I grew up in Orlando during the Shaq and Penny years and these just remind me of those times and these just make me smile when I look down at them. I will say the first few hours the sneakers are a little stiff but after you break them in a bit they are very comfortable. The sides have cool details on the material and the side bulges really stick out a lot which is a cool effect at certain angles. They are lightweight and just a great design that goes with many outfits.

Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my normal men's size 8 in the KD17's. While they are comfortable and feel like a sock hugging your foot, the fit is small to me. I usually don't have to size up at all. But probably should have gotten a half size bigger as they fit pretty snug. FYI, I have skinny feet. The material is pretty durable and the soles have an extra layer of comfort. With that said, I really don't care for the style or color. Though the small Kevin Durant signature on the back is cute. I Still don't love the overall style. But the positive is, they seem like high quality shoes and will stand the tedt of time as a great running or basketball shoe.
