I just broke my big toe at work the other day and these came in the mail. I wouldn’t be able to go to work with having these on my feet so comfortable and also forms to your foot perfectly. I’m an electrician and on my feet all day bought these for my commute to and from work and with this broken toe these have been a life saver.

Snatched these up online during the most recent sale for a lounge/errand shoe. They are so comfortable and conform to my foot just right. If you have a medium to 2e width foot then you may enjoy these just as much as me. I really like the padding behind the ankle region and the shoe cushioning in general. It is a bit of a snug shoe and slightly narrow, but I can already feel that it is gonna break-in nice. I normally wear a size 15 in Nikes and that’s what I ordered in these Nike Cosmic Unity 2. The length is true to size and the toe box has sufficient space, but isn’t loose. Not to mention, these look really dope and match basically everything. A lace swap can really set ‘em off.

Basketball Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t play too much basketball — only shoot around at the gym and these work well for that. The shoe is very secure and I don’t see my ankles rolling around in them. The design and color are actually pretty for a basketball shoe and suits well for a women. I am actually in between shoe sizes for Nike’s depending on the shoe and decided to go up a half size in these and that was not needed. So I would say these are true to size and keep to your original size.

Look great, secure fit on the court, a bit tight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first, I love how these shows look. Whether on the court playing or just hanging out with friends, these shoes shine! My wife really liked how they looked on me and even suggested that I should make them my every day sneakers. All the little details, from the swoosh's texture to the tongue's decor, are super stylish. And yes, I'm just an old millennial in my late thirties, and style might not be my thing; nevertheless, for what it's worth, I cannot stress enough how much I like the design of these shoes. Now, the one thing I did not love was the fit. It is hard to break into these shows. They feel very tight the first few times you wear them. Full disclosure, I am a runner, and in my experience, running shoes are very easy to break into, so maybe I'm just spoiled. But, if you are like me and expect a soft shoe right at the get-go, well, you will not get that. That said, this is a basketball shoe, and when you are on the court, this tightness translates into a secure fit while running and jumping around the court. In my experience, playing basketball with running shoes is asking for a strained ankle, so I can't complain about the shoe's tightness if it is meant to protect my ankles while playing. Yes, I still wish there was a way to make the shoes softer while still being a secure fit, but if it can't be done, I guess that's ok. Finally, the cushioning of the shoes is great. I think it is the same or similar to that in the Pegasus running shoes (which I really come to like), so I only have good things to say about how responsive yet cushioned these shoes feel. So, great basketball shoes; just know that if you are mainly going to use them off the court, it will take some time to break into them since they are somewhat tight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike cosmic unity 2 is very special designed shoes, it’s run a little bit small, my front toe is a little bit tight. Besides that the shoe is really comfortable and lightweight,my feet can easily breathe well.I love air zoom which is located inside the shoes give you very good protection between your feet and ground or floor. I really love the color combination which includes coconut white and team red, it make the basketball shoes standing out. When you look at mirrors, the front part of shoe is beautiful like an art piece.Details make huge difference I really like Nike put some words on the swoosh. At least 20% made from recycled material is my favorite part of the shoe. The shoe is very comfortable I can easily wear the shoe all day long no matter work or play basketball. The upper woven mix rubber plus how they relocate the swoosh it’s one of my favorites part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The positives about this shoe are that they have great traction, cushion around the ankle and you feel grounded while it being lightweight. The fit and feel is really tight but it takes my few wears for them to feel “broken in” and even then, still snug and the toe box is narrow. I was not able to play in them for long due to my heels being painful. For it to be a basketball shoe, comfortability is subpar. The design of the shoe is not my favorite. From the shape of the shoe itself to the exaggerated heel of the outsole to the graphics/details. I like how they are lightweight abs sustainable. I would change the shape, design and cushioning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a foot injury around 2 years ago so certain shoes don’t feel as good as others. When I got these I immediately wasn’t a fan of the design of the shoe. I decided to give them a try but partially because of my injury I didn’t like the way they felt. They gripped on my inner ankle and top of my foot. I thought as I wore them and broke them in they would become more comfortable but they didn’t. I was not a fan of the design. The off white and burgundy would not be something I’d choose.

Durable basketball shoe that is great for all courts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cosmic Unity 2 is a surprisingly comfortable shoe that I did not expect to be. The sneaker is well-produced and hugs your foot greatly for protection. The material provides sturdiness and provides support throughout the medial portion of your foot to the toe and the cut and sew of the tongue does not slide toward the outside of your foot like most shoes. An interesting take on this shoe is how wide the toebox is; many basketball shoes cramp up that space and leave you susceptible to bunions. However, playing in them was spacious and did not leave my feet sore. I will include that the midsole provides a lot of cushion at the heel when you land from jumping and the traction on these are amazing even if the court has not been mopped. My only hesitancy is that the heel lockdown on these sneakers is a bit loose. Tying them a bit tighter than normal does help but not exactly great when you're conscious of it. I would recommend going a half size smaller than your regular pairs - it will be a small duration to break them in but it will be worth it. Overall, these shoes are a reliable pair that you can play both indoors and outdoors in.

Didn’t understand the assignment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a daily basketball player and basketball coach these shoes missed the mark at being comfortable for good hoop sessions. In basketball shoes I typically wear a 7 in men’s but it almost seems like I would need a 8.5 just for the width to be comfortable. I have plenty of toe space but the shoe is tight right even with the laces not done properly. Secondly, the shoe is not comfortable support wise either. As someone with plantar fasciitis I always want a shoe that gives great support and a great arch and this shoe does not do that. It has a super hard bottom that doesn’t help. The color way of the shoe is decent but for now will stick to my shoes that I wear already. I can’t even add an insole into the shoe to help with that because it’s already too tight. Look at the pictures. My dog didn’t even like them. Lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe size length wise is good, but it’s very narrow and very tight across the top of my food making it uncomfortable to wear. I tried to wear them around the house first to break them in, and then to the gym a few days later. However, they’re extremely tight and feels like the circulation at the top of my foot (near my toes) was being cut off and then my toes went numb. I can’t wear them any further for this reason.

Durable and sturdy with Average comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cosmic unity 2 at first look and feel is a sturdy but light basketball shoe. It has a unique look, with unique color ways. I had the maroon and off white color way, which complemented each other. I am not much of a low top basketball show person. But I think high tops can be too stiff at times. When putting on the shoe there was a snug fit, and it hugged my foot like a glove. The toe box was too narrow for my liking, making my toes feel crowded. I was able to wear the shoe for half of the day before my feet started hurting. So I would say that the comfort is average. If there was anything that I would change about the shoe I would change the wildness of the toe box. And also I would go more with a similar design to that of the cosmic unity 1.

Solid and Supportive Modern Hoop Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing I can say about these shoes is when I was playing basketball in them, I really wasn't thinking about how the shoes were feeling. This lets me know they are comfortable and they perform well. They are lightweight but sturdy; the low to mid cut ankle is perfect in my opinion. I read other reviews about how narrow the shoes are but I didn't get that impression. The knit upper did feel snug in the toe box but in a good way; it felt like it was hugging the top of my feet. I've had other shoes where the toe box was narrow on the sides or even at the bottom which can really make my feet and legs sore; I didn't get that feeling from the Cosmic Unity 2s. I'm a fan of the futuristic/space themed design - it's bold but not outrageous. What I liked most about this shoe is the traction and full length Zoom unit - the support these shoes provide is really top notch. If there's one thing I would change about this shoe is how elevated or off the ground I felt in them, especially in the front toe area. I would prefer a slightly shallower/flatter sole to feel more connected to the court. Overall definitely happy to be hooping in these for awhile!

Cosmic unity 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed some basketball shoes, my current basketball shoes are very uncomfortable and not very durable. I got the cosmic unity 2 and i was hesitant on getting them due to the color i wanted wasn’t available but i am still glad i got them. The cosmic unity 2 is a very durable shoe, tried them indoor and outdoor courts and has not disappointed. The bottom of the shoe is very sturdy while the top is comfortable and it’s breathable for your feet, your feet will appreciate that. I love the large visible nike swoosh on the bottom of the shoe but everyone definitely can see it and i was receiving lots of compliments on it. Overall the shoe is great, i even wear them when i water the plants and do chores around my house.

Stylish and Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cosmic Unity 2’s have a great retro and stylish look to them in the Coconut Milk/Team Red color way. I love the off white base of them because it will hold up really well as they age and begin to get dirty from everyday wear. The tops of my feet are raised and tend to rub badly against a lot of shoes. The shoe itself is very stiff, so I had a harder time getting my foot into the shoe at first and was worried I wouldn’t be able to wear them. I needed to really open up the laces. Luckily the tongue of the shoe is basically all soft cushion to contrast the really firm sides so once I had them on, the shoes were very comfortable and fit snugly. The tongue and heel of the shoe sit up way higher than I am used to but there is so much cushion inside the shoe that it didn’t bother me at all. It feels like the shoe is hugging my foot and ankle, and offer a lot of support. Overall I really love these sneakers and plan to continue to wear them casually when I go out. I have yet to try them in an active scenario but look forward to testing them out in that capacity as well.

Comfortable Retro Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Cosmic Unity 2 hits all the right marks! Easy to slip on, really comfortable, and a stylist retro look. Definitely a shoe you can wear all day. The look has a classic feel about it with really interesting color combinations- mine were a combo of burgundy and red. These are good everyday sneaks but I will say they feel a bit clunky, just different from my usual fit which is not necessarily a bad thing just different. All in all I highly recommend them-especially if you want to change things up.

Awesome Cushion & Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Cosmic Unity 2's were a gift for my husband. I was a little hesitant on the style initially, but I have found them to be far more attractive in person than in pictures, and really like how they look on him. As others have mentioned in reviews he stated that at first they felt a little stiff when putting them on, but after breaking them in a bit, he now feels that initial stiffness lends to their being ultra supportive. After wearing them for a few days, my husband kept bringing how well cushioned they are as well as being comfortable enough to wear all day. He also really likes the pull tab at the heel. Awesome shoe overall; husband is happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These look great. I like that they work well on the court. Good lateral support, my ankle is locked in, all while the knit upper breaths great. Then I can wear them off the court around town. In particular, the integration of the swoosh into the structure of the shoe is different. Definitely recommend.

Cool Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really cool-looking shoes. They are sleek and stylized and fun to wear! I don't do much athletics outside of the gym, but I did throw these on for a day out at the airfield. They breath fine but are a little snug, and yet clumsy. There is good support for the arch but like most Nike's I've tried, are tight around the front of my foot. My biggest draw to these shoes is definitely their looks. The colors are a lot of fun, especially with the gold accent on the toes. I've not commonly seen a lot of these colors so it was very interesting. The design overall is unique and will definitely draw attention from others.

Great casual sneakers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, these shoes look great. They look expensive and the mix of materials makes for an interesting but cool vibe. I wear them with shorts or longer pants and the color is neutral enough to go with anything. I especially like the shape, which looks like a modern update to retro basketball shoes. The only thing I would change about the appearance of the shoe is the gold logo on the tongue-it kind of stands out on an otherwise neutral backdrop. As for comfort, I'm only giving the shoes 4 stars instead of 5 because the arch support is a little off. I typically don't wear shoes that are this structured, so it might be a personal issue, but the arch seems really high to me. Other than that, the width is normal and they wear like most sneakers-easy to wear all day and solid if you're on your feet or walk a lot. They have a bit more ankle support than traditional sneakers, too. They have the feel of a high top without the annoying pressure on your ankle since the sides are lower but the back comes up higher. Overall, I would purchase again and would consider purchasing in other colors just because I like the look of them so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of the Cosmic Unity 2 is great, even for me who have a high dorsum, narrow midfoot, and wide at the toes. I can be picky with my shoes because of how specific my feet are, but the Cosmic Unity 2 were great. The high ankle support with the foam was a nice feature, and the shoe has the perfect cushion to both walk and play sports in. It gives comfort and good court feel. The only thing that I didn't like was the traction. If you like to make quick stops this shoe might not be for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Cosmic Unity 2 at first is very snug but overtime loosens up after a couple wears. It’s more snug than usual do to it’s slimmer design. Traction is pretty good and should be okay on indoor courts that is kept in good condition. I like how it’s a low cut shoe and made from recycled/repurposed materials. The color was unique and the rope laces are awesome.
