Not very wide

They are super soft and ideal for long easy runs. I have found them to be quite tight around the mid foot area and the toe box is not as wide as other brands. I will stick with them, but they are not my favourite in the rotation.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Plus size walker

I’ve needed a new solid neutral support walking around shoe now that Mizuno gave up on lus size shoes. The size 16 is well constructed, the ride is a bit more cushioned than I’d usually prefer but the FuelCell insert help compensate with stability. The upper material is loose enough to be comfortable but solid enough to hold your foot in place, just right.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Does not fit to size.

I’ve been running in the propel line for years now, and never had an issue until this one. For some reason my usual size does not fit anymore. I always get size 11 and prefer New Balance because they tend to have wider shoes than others. The width on this one seems narrower and the length was too short. At first I thought they just needed broke in. That was not the case. Ended up with blisters and bruises on my toes after a few miles in them. Why did you mess up this shoe New Balance?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Stylish, Lightweight, Real Cushioning, & Runners

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect running shoes that also come with style & my first pair I had gotten from New Balance were the FuelCell Propel V4 & I was beyond satisfied with the comfort level, style, & light weighing component that they had & now I decided to get a new pair so I got these the FuelCell Propel V5 & I was a nervous to see what I would expect but they are beyond what I expected, super comfortable, lightweight, stylish, & perfect for running, would highly recommend.

Not worth it bc of squeaks, but it is what it is

Largely good, but the midsole makes a squeaking noise from the compression of the foam material when walking and it’s incredibly annoying. This is NOT coming from friction between the floor and the sole making contact with it (ie, the sound it makes when you walk on a wet floor and it squeaks). This is from the foam compressing. Otherwise, I like the shoes just fine.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love This Shoe For A Variety of Running Uses

The Fuel Cell Propel is a super comfortable shoe that can be used for regular runs, but also for tempo runs, and speed work. It is neutral, neither light nor heavy, but is very responsive and runs lighter than you might think based on its actual weight. It's durability is good for a shoe of its type, and I've been very happy with it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

High hopes fell flat

I ordered wide shoes hoping for a wider toe box and it was worse than a normal width shoe. The big toe was crammed into the side of the shoe pushing my foot outward. I The soles also looked like they were going to be more solid supportive foam but were extra squishy and I didn’t not feel adequately supported and that the soles were going to break down way to quickly.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good shoe

I am a longtime customer who has previously purchased the 1080 - I switched because I didn't like the available colors with the new version. I love how much cushioning the shoes have. However, I wish the mesh used on the toe area was more breathable because my feet sweat

Yes, I recommend this product.

I am sixty nine years old and I run five miles three days a week. I have bad foot supination and I go through a lot of shoes in my travels. This is one of the best, consistent shoes I use for the money. Great cushion in the shoe to soften the pavement hits. I will keep buying this for jogging until they stop making them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Product, Amazing Value

Ive always like New Balance as a running shoe brand but after a few years of being a Nike guy (Zoom Fly, Pegasus, and Dragonfly's) both these and my MD500 v9s have been awesome. This shoe is an extremely good distance and tempo trainer, keeping the pace around 4-5 per k. Great cushion. Not great for slow running 5:30/6 per k or speed work 2-3 per k.

Yes, I recommend this product.
