Get the right size because they are a tight fit, the padding is really nice. No irritations, but the padding will get holes if your sliding on your knees.

4th grade basketball

I bought these for my 4th grader to play basketball. After two games, there was a small hole. After the fifth game, the hole was the size of a half dollar. They look nice, but don’t hold up well against the gym floor.

Does the job, smaller fit

Good knee padding and gave my son the extra confidence to go all in during the game. Unfortunately they did tear during the first wear after a fall on court (wasn't a super rough game as he is only 10). I was able to mend them but would suggest getting the tough version if they are going to be worn for competition games. Also a good idea to try them on, they are a smaller fit. We ended up purchasing an adults size M to make sure they were easy enough to get on but wouldn't fall down when he ran, my son is tall and usually wears youth 14-16 clothes.
