Lifetime 44" MVP Basketball Hoop

The Lifetime 44" Portable Basketball Hoop will turn your driveway or backyard into a great practice zone. The 44" steel-framed polycarbonate backboard is shatter proof and easily height adjustable moving between 2.4m-3.0m using the Quick Adjust II height adjustment mechanism. It also includes a Slam-It Rim with an all-weather nylon net and a 7.6cm diameter round powder coated 2mm steel pole. The entire Hoop is supported by a 132.5 Litre heavy-duty base and can easily be moved around as you need to.

Great Basketball Ring

Bought this for my sons 7th birthday. We've had so much fun with it, especially during lockdown. Very sturdy. Our backboard sits a little bit crooked due to one of the holes not aligning but barely noticeable. Contacted Lifetime to see if there was anything we missed or needed to do, but they just sent out a whole new backboard from the USA. Wasn't expecting that, will probably keep it as a spare as my partner is not keen on pulling it all apart again. Was worried it may be too high for my son, but its perfect height for him on the lowest setting. We did have trouble raising and lowering it, but check the instructions! You don't push the same spot as where you lower it. If your buying the sand from Bunnings, make sure the bags are dry (we had to click and collect so didn't get a choice). Had to empty them on a tarp to dry out in the sun. Its quite painful to fill, but wont budge once done. Took some time to assemble as others state, there are plenty of videos online if you need them. My partner did it by himself, though 2 people at some points would have made it easier. Would definitely recommend this basketball system. I looked for cheaper online but you get what you pay for.

The unit is good but the instructions are pathetic. I wish there were clear guidelines and pictures that gives the step by step set up process. The accesories packets that had the bolts and nuts were also not numbered. Some steps were missed in the instruction sheet. We had to check a few youtube videos to finally get it up.
