Some of the worst ear buds ever purchased

Owned two sets of these now and both have stopped charging randomly sometime both won’t charge sometimes one won’t charge. Nothing better than getting to the gym to find out your headphones are dead. Don’t waste your money buy AirPods or even skull candies over this trash

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Tune Flex. You may try cleaning the charging terminals on the earbuds using a swab dipped in a rubbing alcohol, as foreign matter on the metal charging contacts may affect the charging process of it. If these steps didn't work, please contact our customer support for further assistance.

I had originally bought the beam but someone stole them. These ear buds cause so much pain to my ear from trying to hold the ear buds. The seal also is not very good and they are Infact not noise cancelling

We're here to help with your JBL Tune Flex. We recommend using and trying other sizes of ear tips that come with the unit. Also, you can turn on/off the Noise canceling feature of the earbud by tapping the left earbud once. If you need more help, please contact JBL Customer Support so we can assist you.

Amazing Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gotta say, I own several headphones from different major companies and these are more expensive than the Tune Flex but somehow I found myself using The Tune Flex more often than the others, you'll see why. The sound coming from the Tune Flex is amazin, it goes higher than other brands, crispier, the bass is there, I mean, it's really there, you can feel it like you are wearing those big headphones over the ear, which is rare for this type of product when considering that most of these headphones don't use that feature due the small size but somehow the JBL Tune Flex manages to bring it here and it's great, really great, hearing music with this headphones is a pleasure to your hears. Another feature that really impress me is the Noice Cancelation and the ANC, they work really well for a headphone that is already cheap, much better than other expensive headphones I own. The battery running time is more than amazing, I've been spending hours listening music while studying, receiving phone calls and I haven't seen the battery levels going below 80%, this is remarkable. Another great thing is the app, it's so user friendly, easy to navegate and with a lot of options, it's really a pleasure to be able to select different hearing styles so easily on the equalizer, the music hits different with each one and this is something you don't see in other apps. Regarding the app, I have only one complain and it is within the equlizer itself, there are arrows pointing left and right that allows you to select the style of equlizer you want to use, that's fine but the problem comes when you reach the last selection, there is nothing that tells you that you have reached the end, at least one of the arrows should desapear or a pop up telling you "you cannot proceed further" for example. Regarding the case, it's very small, smaller than the other headphones I own and that's a very good thing, I can my JBL every I go, I can barely feel then in my pants, although I have a couple of small complains, one is the headphones are kinda difficult to get them out of the case and the second is related to that, most of the time you press a button on the headphones when taking them out of the case which make them change their default setting or last saved configuration. In overall, the JBL Tune Flex makes wonder considering the price, they do a much better performance than more expensive brands. I look foward to see more JBL products on the future since it shows they really care to bring an optimal customer experience.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good sound quality and battery seems to last a good long while. But they hurt my ears because they are a little too big for me. I did put on ear tips from another pair of earbuds I have and it helps. Otherwise, I like them a lot.

These are great! I like how they engage when I take them out of their case. I haven't had an issue with them falling out but haven't used fr exercise yet. Stays charged for two or three days. Easily paired up initially. Controls on the earbuds pause music and hang up phone calls.

Solid little earbuds with a better fit than most

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, these are pretty solid little earbuds with decent sound. The multiple sized tips ensure a good fit for most ears. I like to listen to music and podcasts while running. Normally other buds normally will shake loose, these stayed secure with minimal adjustments. The sound while listening to music is really good in the mids and highs, but the base became a little distorted at times. The ANC was pretty average. The app is a nice touch and makes and adjusting the equalizer pairing easy. However I wish there were a few more preset equalizer options - perhaps that will come in a future update. The battery life is outstanding as I was able to get nearly 8 hours of use between charges. Overall, I was impressed by these little earbuds.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Decent Earphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound good. Price was right. They feel ok on the ears. Bass sounds are average but it's a nice earbuds if you are using it to studyor just go for a jog. Only 4 stars because i don’t like the ergonomics of the case - it’s a bit bulky. Also, the tap controls on the headsets themselves I’m not really fond of. Overall small complaints.

Solid performer, deep base, strong mids and highs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for an outstanding performance to price ratio these will not disappoint, they provide comfort for long use as well as very good noise cancelling performance. They have a well balanced sound that can carry low bass very well without being over powering, the mids and highs are able to shine through creating a pleasure listening experience. The app is very user friendly and the equalizer is very good at dialing them in, able to adjust controls in app which is a very nice option. I definitely recommend these and will be enjoying them for a long time. Pros: Light weight Solid battery life Usb-c Balanced sound Price Solid app Easy to grab Clear calls Cons: No wireless charging No proximity sensor to pause music when removed Charging contacts are low in case which can be hard to clean Seal in ear can be difficult sometimes, will need to test all seals again

Yes, I recommend this product.

As always, JBL Delivers with the Tune Flex

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the JBL Vibes for a couple years now and have been happy with them, but have been working in an 'open floor plan' office a couple of days a week recently and have been wanting to try some noise cancellation to tune out a lot of the distractions. I'm a bit late to the noise-cancellation earbuds scene, but these have been a game changer for me. Been using them for a few weeks now and my biggest takeaway compared to the Vibes is how helpful they've been for my attention. In the past I've just thrown on some loud metal music and pumped up the volume to drown out the waves of noise and distraction. Being able to listen to mellower music without having the drone of a dozen or more other people chattering about has been nice. I saw them featured, but I didn't think I'd end up using the ambient aware/talkthru features as much as I have been. It's a really nice quality of life upgrade for me. My biggest hesitation to going with noise cancelling buds has been about using them in public if I'm out riding or skating (or when someone in the office gives me the ole shoulder tap), but being able to quick-tap to change back and forth between the settings is great. I have slightly smaller ear canals, so I didn't really need to use the sealing rubber tips that came with it, but I tried them anyway and am pretty glad I did. I've never had a problem with my Vibes falling out, but if I was moving around a lot I'd have to adjust them occasionally. I ended up trying the small tips and it prevented the buds from shifting around. They block out a little bit of noise, but with the hear-through features it doesn't really matter. Compared to the Vibes, the ability to swap out the tips will probably make these headphones a lot more comfortable/stable for folks who have more real estate to fill up. As for the audio quality, it's great as always. I've noticed these have a little more bass than my Vibes. I'm not by any means a bass junkie, but the added low end has been nice...and not overpowering like I've experienced in wired headphones that tout 'improved bass.' The other nice feature compared to the Vibes is being able to download the app and customize settings. Game changer for someone like me who likes to tweak things around a lot. Overall, I'm stoked on them so far. Battery life is great, I can run them most or all of the day without even putting them in the case for a backup charge...but even if I do they charge up really quick. My only sort-of complaint is that I have noticed that if the ambient aware is on and turned up it sounds like there's a river running in the distance. That can be a bit distracting if music isn't playing, but it's not a huge issue considering the noise cancelling feature is a tap away. Overall, I'd highly recommend them. It's gotten to the point where there are TONS and TONS of options out there for wireless earbuds...seems like every time I watch a Youtube video there's someone shoving a new brand in my face. Call me brand fanboy or whatever, I've been one for 15+ years now, but it's nice not worrying about whether I'm rolling the dice on an unknown flavor-of-the-month brand who could fold overnight. Similarly, I've never felt like I'm overpaying...sometimes it seems like there's a brand-premium on similar options.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great price, comfort and incredible sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the opportunity to use the new JBL Tune Flex earbuds for several weeks now, and without question these are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever worn. I know I should probably have started by talking about the sound quality first, and I will, but I don't want to understate how natural these earbuds feel when you're wearing them. They are extremely lightweight and perfectly designed to sit naturally in your ears. And after all, if the earbuds aren't comfortable you're not going to bother wearing them in the first place. But, about the sound quality… The sound quality is nothing short of spectacular. The highs and the mid-range sounds are clear and rich without being overly mellow or shrill. And the base, OMG, the base goes through you and almost knocks you out. I love being able to switch back easily between noise cancellation and being able to hear what's going on outside the earbuds. And what a powerful effect that is too. When you tap the earbud and engage noise canceling, you might as well be sitting in a sound booth. Almost nothing comes in from the outside. So, if you're wearing them while driving in your car, I would suggest not using noise cancellation, because it really works fantastically. If you listen to audiobooks, like I do you will really appreciate how realistic the sound is. The speaking voice is so natural and present it's almost like someone standing with you, reading to you. I find I usually get between 5 & 6 or so hours of continuous playing time. And when I'm wearing these earbuds, I wish I always had six hours or more to listen to my music and my books.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Quality and performance are unmatched!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a week ago now, and I have to say the reception is amazing! Very clear, the bass is definitely present, I would have liked for the volume to go a little louder, but it is decent. The design is very nice, I would have rathered for them to be a little thicker in size. They do seem to slip out of my ears at times, so that is alarming, and could use some improvement there. But the overall quality and performance is pretty much unmatched!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Big sound in little package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you get the JBL Flex, it comes is a neat effecient package with a charging cable, Quick start guide, product registration book ear buds, charging case and differnt size ear inserts to give you the most comfortable fit. Big sound is an understatement, I am thoroughly impressed with their sound and battery performance. They deliver an outstanding audio experience, comfortable fit, and effective noise cancellation in a sleek and compact design. It has a small size option for ear tips ensures a secure and snug fit. The earbuds seamlessly pair with my IPhone, and the Bluetooth connection remains stable, providing a hassle-free listening experience. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, allowing me to adjust volume, skip tracks, and answer calls effortlessly. The noise-cancelling feature effectively reduces ambient noise, creating a quiet and focused environment. The battery life is impressive, providing several hours of playback on a single charge. The included charging case extends the usage even further, making these earbuds perfect for on-the-go use. The quick charging feature is a handy addition for those moments when I need a quick power boost. What's great the case has three LED lights to let you know how much battery use you have or the battery is fully charged. The ear buds themselves have little LED lights on them also. With superb full sound quality, a comfortable fit, effective noise cancellation, and convenient features, and long battery life these earbuds are a superb choice for anyone in search of a reliable ear bud. I highly recommend the JBL Tune Flex, and they have rightfully earned their 5-star rating!

Impressive for Designed Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] +Clear Sound on both media and calling +Good Battery Life +Sturdy case +Comfortable with proper rubber tips +Effective Noise-Cancelling -Light on Bass -Earbud removal can be difficult Overall these are pretty impressive. I use these earbuds for calling and listening to spoken word sources such as podcasts and audiobooks. The clarity is very good, with or without Active Noise Cancelling. TalkThru is great for a quick exchange without having to pause & restart the sound. With the correct size tips installed, I can listen for multiple hours without discomfort. The batteries last a full morning/afternoon of listening and can be easily supplemented with the case/charger. The only weaknesses IMO are the relative lack of bass for music listening, and the slipperiness of the earbuds themselves. Removing them from the case requires a little effort, which probably bodes well for them not falling out accidentally.

Yes, I recommend this product.

As expected, great sounding earbuds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tune Flex earbuds and was excited to use them as I needed a better solution than the other in-ear "pods" I'd been using before. The Tune Flex right out of the nicely packaged box, looked and felt great. Pairing them to my iPhone was simple as the app just popped up on my phone. When I first put them in my ears they seemed to just easily fall out until I realized that changing the rubber eartips and doing a slight "twist" made them sit perfectly in my ear. It was a bit difficult to pull the rubber eartips off but once I figured it out, it was no problem to change them out. The sound was (of course) JBL GREAT! I especially love the charging case and it's 3 lights to show how charged they are. The app's eq is fun and really helped design the sound I like. I've used these mostly to watch videos on my phone, and to listen to music. For me, they seem like they'd fall out while working out, and so I am afraid I have not used them for that. Noise cancellation worked ok while I had a bigger ear tip installed, but with the smaller tips, I didn't notice it. I do want to say again how much I love the sound of these earbuds! Thick bass that's not overpowering, clear mids and highs and just that good JBL sound. It would be great if these charged on my charging pad instead of having to plug them in. I used these on super long road trip and got about 7.5 hours battery life...pretty good!

Yes, I recommend this product.

May be IPX4 and suitable for workouts, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These True Wireless earphones has IPX4 for intense workouts, but make sure you don't immense yourself during heavy squalls and/or go scuba diving with these, as these aren't appropriate for scuba diving. For optimal noise cancelling and deep detailed JBL-quality sound, keep your ear tip settings at "open ear tips" on the JBL Headphones app, which are required to optimize the JBL Tune Flex. It will work with "Sealed Ear Tips" but don't expect wind noise reduction with that "switch". I had to play "Broken" by Seether from their album "Disclaimer II" (Courtesy of Wind-Up Records, distributed by Sony) and two versions of "Calm Agitation" (Zankuro's Theme from the video game Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Ascent--called "Samurai Sprits" in Japan by SNK, music by SNK Sound Team) a couple of times just for the sake of this review. Obviously the JBL Tune Flex works BEST using the "Open Ear Tip" setting on the JBL Headphones App. So in order to get the best possible audio, you will have to use the desired "Open Ear Tip" setting because these ear tips aren't closed-ear. In fact these have strict JBL Headphones App setting requirements for the best enjoyment possible. So unless you're used to "open ear" earbuds, then these aren't for you, as often closed-canal earbuds are better for JBL Newbies. These truly wireless earbuds were meant for the intermediate JBL product user and "jocks" who don't mind some background noise during their workouts. There are more beginner-friendly JBL headphone offerings as these aren't for JBL newbies.

No, I do not recommend this product.

sorry to say that I'm disappointed.

I'm very satisfied with all the JBL products I bought before but these earbuds have been giving me headaches from the start. Most of the times 1 isn't working or charging. I disconnect and reconnect over and over. Take the one that isn't working out of the case. Put it back in. Sometimes it all of a sudden works again. When I put them back in the charger(and yes close it) they sometimes keep connecting to my device. They drive me mad.. I am sorry to say And yes, I clean them.

Great Sound - Get the App!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the JBL Tune Flex Ear Buds. They have the usual Great JBL Sound, with booming bass. The box contains a Quick Start guide, a box of ear tips and a short USB A to C cable for charging (it's Orange making it easy to find) plus the Ear Buds. (see the pictures) My advice is to download the JBL Headphones App right away! There's a QR Code with the link. Mine came with a decent charge out of the box, but I charged it fully just to be safe, while I installed the JBL Headphones App on my phone. The case has lights that indicate the level of charge...they go out when the device is fully charged. The JBL Tune Flex uses Bluetooth to connect. Opening the case makes the Ear Buds discoverable, and they easily connected to my Samsung with a custom name for easy identification. Operation is simple using taps to the top of the earbud, the part in your ear (that's the actual speaker). You can use them in one ear (Mono) or both (Stereo), the controls are the same on each side. I chose to use the Ear Buds with open ear tips, just as they came out of the box. If you choose to use the Sealing Ear Tips (there are 3 different sizes) the first thing to do is remove the Open Ear Tips...see my picture with the tip removed. Directions are on the the first page of the Quick Start Guide...don't overlook them!! With the JBL Headphone App, you can customize many of the device controls and the sound; there's also an Equalizer that works very well, I was using Sirius XM from my phone and settled on the "Vocal" EQ setting. There are also three settings (available in the App) for Ambient Noise and with 6 adjustments within that, you should be able to find just the right setting for your location(s). All of this functionality, at a tremendous price makes for a great value which is why I give the JBL Tune Flex Ear Buds FIVE Stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] W when I first got the product, I opened it up. The packaging was nice and neat. It was well secured within the box that it was sent in. I proceeded to open the package itself and I looked and saw that the package was in good shape, I opened up and pulled all of the items out of the box including the instructions. Everything look good all the pieces look superb. After I started charging the product up, I was able to get it to hook up to my iPhone rather easily. I already had the app for the headphones due to headphones that I had from JBL I use the app to program and digitize the headphones or earbuds per se and to be honest they sound pretty good. The product itself Is a good quality and the sound I would give it a B- if I put it on a scale from A to F. I would give it a B minus in sound but the quality of it I would probably give an A- Overall I like this product and I would recommend it to my friends that like good sound lite weight earbuds.

Great quality, Easy pairing with any device . noise cancellation you can tweak with the EQ with the app. cons : case is a bit bulky ..The touch controls are a bit annoying, constantly calling random numbers . so you need to be careful of how you grab them when putting them in the case. but You can just turn it off though so it's not a big deal.

All About That Pure Bass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These wireless noise canceling earbuds are super comfortable to wear and easy to use with Bluetooth. The buds feature four microphones, the app to set ambient sound control, ear tip sound settings, voice aware and tapping gestures. Wow!—with its own sound mixer possibilities they respond to touch/tap for music player controls and phone call control. The optional volume limiter automatically sets the level below 85db to protect hearing. You get a quick start guide to help you set up and answer frequently asked questions. Four microphones!—an amazing 12mm dynamic driver, the ability to receive calls crystal clear; the sleek charger box that looks luxurious includes polar white indicator lights and takes up to two hours to fully charge via USB-C. I use these earbuds at home and I love to use them when I am out and about running errands. The bass sound is awesome and I can really feel the kick in the my favorite tunes. It’s all about that pure bass and sound control. I like that they feel light in my ear and I prefer to wear them without the extra included DIY ear sealing tips. I am giving this product a rating of five out five stars overall and I am happy that the ebony color matches all of my outfits.

Thanks for your question. We're here to help you with your JBL Tune Flex. To get the best audio response with the noise-canceling feature, choosing the right size of ear tips helps create a tight seal in your ears. Angle the ear tip slightly downward and gently twist the earbud to fit securely. To further isolate where the low volume is coming from, try to connect the earbuds to a different device to see if it fixes the problem. In addition, the earbuds can be susceptible to moist or deep-seated dirt that blocks the screen of the earbuds. To reduce the likelihood of this issue, clean the earbuds by removing the dirt after each use, using a pointed toothpick to remove large amounts, and a small amount of rubbing alcohol applied to a cotton swab for final degreasing. We're here to help with your JBL Tune Flex. If the earbuds no longer charge, please try cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. These pins are sensitive to dust. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. If the issue remains, we'd like to work with you directly so we can isolate the issue, please contact our customer support.
