Not as advertised

Earcup size is not as advertised As the advertisement, the earcup internal size is 2.5 inches but real size is less than 2.2 inches. It is much smaller than I expect and not fit to my ear

Very good option

Excellent sound, full grave. Comparing with JBL 500BT, the older one seems a bit more open/natural sound.

ANC is the most comfortable one I have ever tried.

I've been using these headphones for around three months and I must say, the sound quality is truly impressive. The sweat resistance feature, a common feature in many JBL products, adds to the overall appeal. The headphones' ambient sound, design, and materials used are all top-notch. I'd like to share a little anecdote - I used these headphones during a flight and they created a serene atmosphere, allowing me to enjoy various genres of music in complete relaxation.

Good headphones

I bought this few weeks ago and I'm happy. Good sound (as you expect from JBL) for very good price. Noise cancelling works well. Maybe this is not top model but doing the job.

Overall headphones our outstanding!

Right out of the box the headphones hooked up to my iPhone 15. They also easily connected with my Sony TV allowing me to watch TV in complete silence. I primarily purchased the headphones to be able to use on airplanes; however, I have found plenty of times I could just use them to listen to music in high quality.

More than expected, amazing on ear headphones

I was surprised by the compliance of the noise cancellation function that I didn't expect much because it was on ear headphones, and the sound quality, volume, and Sound space are excellent. And the fit was comfortable without any inconvenience even after long use. I think it's better than my JBL 760NC.

Unbearable

Unless you have a small ear, do NOT buy these head phones. You will be in pain within minutes. I recommend an oval shape if you are purchasing an over the ear headphone.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the fit of our JBL Tune 660NC didn't meet your expectations. This unit is an on-ear headphones that are designed to sit lightly on top of your ears rather than around or over them. If it's tight, you may adjust the headband of the headphones or you might want to check our over-ear models which fully enclose your ears with padded cups.

constant pausing driving me insane

the constant pausing is absolutly infuriating. Its smart for when I actually want my headphones off but I'll yawn and it pauses my video. All I want to do is take a nap while listening to a podcast but I can't do that when it's pausing every few seconds. Since I use these on my pc there's no app so every time I have to turn these on I have to turn off the noise cancelling every time and I'm at my wits end at this rate these are getting sold. The only good thing about them is their battery life

Uncomfortable, not good for running or walking.

Sound quality is good but that’s the only positive. They’re very tight to the head and uncomfortable. Causes headache and ear wax compaction, also the noise canceling is not very good and causes a pressure on your our ears that makes a terrible sound every time you take a step. Can’t walk with them, forget about jogging or running. Gives you a weird sensation of hearing and feeling and your heartbeat in a very uncomfortable way. Also any wind will get picked up and amplified. Wish I could return this junk but unfortunately I customized them so I’m stuck with the stethoscope9000. Do not personalize! That’s how it hey get you and unload this overpriced garbage onto you!

Good headphones but the buttons don’t work

They are good headphones but i ordered 2 of them because both times the buttons on the side didn’t work so whats the point of spending the extra money for buttons and noise cancellation if you can’t activate them unless you open your phone and go into the JBL app

They are fine

I brought them 2 week ago, works fine but noise canceling not work properly and the bass is OK not good. There is some volume difference between two sides like lift is a bit low than right.

Thank you for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Tune 660NC. If you're experiencing an imbalanced volume and issue with the bass, it might be due to the balance control, EQ settings, or source devices. Try checking the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings as well as the balance control on your music player app commonly found in the playback or EQ settings. Make sure that the left/right balance control is set to default (centered). Lastly, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player). If the issue remains, please contact our customer support.

Terrible, colossal mess up.

I don't know how you could mess up this horribly. To start off you didn't even design them to protect against the wind whistling so you get these brutal noises while walking around with them. Secondly the ANC is absolutely garbage, all it does is play an off quiet noise in the background and base boost the actual music itself. I think the worst part about these headphones would be that at their max volume they PEAK how do you mess up that horribly! This is the last JBL product I buy. Ever.

Thanks for your feedback. We would like to let you know that this is not the experience that we want you to have with our products. Our JBL Live 660NC has adjustable headbands, which may adjust how the headphones fit in your head and cover your ears. The adaptive noise cancelling works on our JBL Live 660 NC through its microphones that will detect if the noise outside is loud and will strengthen noise cancellation, while in quiet spaces will lower the amount instead. At last, if you are having a sound issue with your JBL Live 660 NC, try to use a different source device and music player app if this will fix the problem. You can also try to reset your headphones by pressing and holding the "Volume +" and "Volume -" for more than 5 seconds. For us to extend our help, please contact our customer support.

I bought a pair of Live 660 NC headphones, I love everything about them except I was a little disappointed in the range of volume. I was hoping that it was a little higher, other than that I enjoy them!

Bit small in size...dynamic range and volume does not match the Duet NC. The only saving grace is the app with the EQ...OTHERWISE I would return them as inadequate and inferior.

Better than expected noise cancelling

These deserve 5 stars. The sound is great and most noise cancelling are less than expected. JBL Tune 660NC does the job very well. I wear them while baking to listen to podcasts and not to disturb whatever my husband may be watching. I can barely hear the mixer so I don’t miss a word of the podcast. Love this product. One issue, although not JBL’s issue, is that I’m very petite so they tend to slip down sometimes. I wish I could tighten them a bit more. I’m not an average or even small size, these would be perfect in that category. I’m just unusually petite. Thank you JBL, in spite of this personal issue they fit better than any others I have tried.

For small people

Bought the headphones thinking they are over the ears. I was wrong. They are very small. I have a round head and these headphones dont fit right. I think they are made for smaller people like kids. They are nice and great sounding but alittle too small for me. I would return but i dont want to go throught the hassle of exchanging and putting more money into another set of headphones.

Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Tune 660NC is an on-ear headphones that are designed to sit lightly on top of your ears rather than around or over them. The earcups and padding rest gently against the surface of your ears without fully enclosing your ear. If you prefer more isolated listening, our over-ear models fully enclose your ears with padded cups. If you need further assistance, you may reach out to our customer support.

I'd give 6 stars if I could! I was at the hotel for work and was wearing the 660 and the fire alarms started going off and my brother who was on the phone with me asked what that noise was that's when I took them off and heard the alarms!

The most frustrating headphones I've ever owned

These have limited functionality with audio control compared to other over-ear Bluetooth headsets I've owned, and the failure to auto-pair with my devices is super frustrating. I have to open bluetooth settings and manually pair these every time I want to use them with my iPhone, with my desktop PC, or with my Chromebook - and half the time after I do get them paired they're not recognized as an audio output device. Skip these, Plantronics Backbeat PRO are superior in every way. I've had a pair of those for seven or eight years and the only reason they were replaced was the lining on the ear covers was fraying, everything else still works fine. These 660s were a birthday gift and I wish I'd have just bought new Plantronics before, I'm probably going to keep using those even with the plastic coming off.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Our JBL Live 660NC is compatible with the JBL Headphones app where you can do more such as controlling the features of the headphone. Also, to isolate the issue with the pairing, you may try to reset your unit. First, turn the headphones on then press and hold "Volume +" and "Volume -" for more than five seconds. The headphones will turn off, and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet to pair them again. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support.

Not Impressed, my old set from 6yrs ago are better

Purchased these to replace my ancient original JBL Tune headset. This new headset works okay. The noise cancelling sort of works - it does cancel out noise, but it also gives off some sort of white noise as well in the headset. I also at one point went to turn noise cancelling on, and one of the ears made this horrific screeching grainy sound. Turned headset off and it hasn't done it since. But now it occasionally cuts out sound for a second, I'll be listening to music or a movie and the sound won't come through for a second or two in both ears. I am not impressed with these, my old ones I bought over 6 years ago were better quality.
