I bought this as a gift for my husband's birthday. The sound is great and I love the light that changes with the music providing an added entertainment bonus. We've had a number of smaller bluetooth speakers scattered around our apartment which have been fine but a lot to manage and keep charged etc. Now we've been able to consolidate to this one speaker and the sound is even better than expected. It's the only one we need to hear the music throughout our apartment.

I was looking for another, speaker that was loud for indoor and outdoor use , and I’ve found the JBL partybox speaker, and I’ve loved it since the day I purchased it online . If you’re looking for a nice speaker for family events or just to sit out on that patio or pool side or beach ! This is the speak for you. JBL did not disappoint with this speaker. Awesome system but unusable bizarre charging cord

Perfect for events, I use this system with the accessory microphones for weddings. Crisp sound, lights function for parties, lightweight so it’s easy to move around. The only downfall is the charging cord, it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. I have to use one half of my computer charging cord because I can’t find an adapter suitable for the cord that was provided with the PartyBox.

This Bluetooth speaker is exactly what I was looking for! Perfect size with a very convenient carrying handle. The sound is AWESOME! There are three choices for bass which is great. The light show is fun to play with or you can turn it off. Great quality! I expect that from JBL products!

Great! Especially for the price. You can usually find one on sale if you wait. I watched reviews saying that it as good as the Partybox 110. I didn't beleive it, so I bought a 110. I honestly prefer the Encore Essential. I wish that I wouldn't have bought the 110. Put 2 Essentials in stereo mode. Awesome! And on sale you can buy 2 for the cost of one 110.

Sound quality is very good. But, having mic input DOES NOT make any sense with the TWS feature. Mic audio DOESN'T work with the TWS feature on both speakers. NOT A VERY GOOD THINKING when it was designed.

I purchased this about 6 weeks ago. Nice sound however I don't know where they get 6 hours playing time as I only get 2.5 hours from full charge without the lights going.
