I recieved this for christmas... The battery life is great, and holding it means getting to feel the bass, so if you play a song with a lot of bass (take any drill beat, for example), the speaker vibrates in your hand, or anything it's placed on. The sound quality is great, and this thing has a very high Hz and mHz tolerance, meaning you can play just about anything! As the cherry on the sundae, this thing is small and portable, meaning you can take it nearly everywhere! Overall, this is the perfect speaker for just about anything!

I've had mine for 6 months now and the volume is good, music quality is good, but the battery life is trash. I grew up with a jbl clip 2 which was the best thing ever, didn't like the clip 3 but was hoping this would fill the void. It didn't. Not only does it not hold a long charge but the music also cuts out sometimes. It comes right back but why is it cutting out at all?? I may have to look to another brand for a small and portable bluetooth speaker :/

Please try this experiment: Charge the battery to 100%, and then listen to music without any bass boosted and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime (7 hours), the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Bluetooth generally works up to 30 feet in ideal conditions, but walls, obstacles, and interference from other devices can reduce this range. If the connection is stable at 10 feet or less, interference is likely the cause of dropouts. Try unpairing and re-pairing your Bluetooth connection, as it may have become corrupted. I bought one as a gift for my daughter, & was so surprised at the quality of sound, especially bass, that I bought 3 more- for me, my wife, & my father! Sounds great with every kind of music & has accurate voice for music, podcasts, & audiobooks! 10 stars!

I had this speaker a month and I'm very impressed by the sound and bass but the rubber around the speaker and buttons is easily tearable and can be easily punctured. My speaker is now ruined because of how fragile the rubber around the buttons are. I'd say they should have stuck with plastic like the JBL go 3. Wish I could Give a better review.

Recieved in the post quite quick and great value for money. The sound is very clear, the bass has some kick to it, and by using the JBL Ph App. You can tweak the Equalizer to suit your Sound Experience. Its a head turner when i walk with it, everyone can hear me coming. Compact, lightweight, waterproof from any spills. (Not for underwater use), & its great for sitting around a table with Friends & family. Im buying another as you can link 2 to your phone playlist. Put them in different spots in your backyard or around the house. Very satisfied, my friends are buying them too!

I bought this speaker as my first one made by JBL. The instant I bought it I fell in love with it. This is my best speaker yet. I had some problems with the JBL portable app but I managed to fix them. I am so excited about all the different speakers coming sometime in the future.

The speakers sound great, but the auracast support is not fully implemented. I was expecting them to be able to connect to auracast streams from other devices (controlled either via the app or the android bluetooth controls similar to the Samsung Buds 2 Pro)

We have a JBL go 3 for the kitchen and traveling and use it all the time. I decided to get the Go 4 for my dad who was going on a 6 month trip and then another for myself. Needless to say we love these speakers- small and compact- they can sit anywhere (mine is only desk). Easy to throw in a bag or backpack for a weekend or travel, the sound quality is great for such a small and overall inexpensive speaker. Battery life is what it says on the box. Love.
