Bought this little bluetooth speaker a few weeks ago. It's very easy to pair with devices. Sound is great and it's been used outside in the garden and functions well. Very pleased with this purchase, good price too

Big sound from a small package

I received my speaker 2 weeks ago coming from a JBL Flip 4. This speaker is actually louder and sounds better. Nice compact design. I also like the fact that the strap is secure which will cut out losing the strap. I do wish the Equalizer settings were user friendly (I had to Google what to do to create my listening pleasure).

Good, but not what I hoped

I am happy with the sound and love that you can group several of them together. I was hoping that it would be able to sync with other JBL speakers and it is not able to do that. Also, when you group them, one is a lft speaker and one is right. I was hoping I could use them to play music throughout my house in various rooms and it is not what I hoped for that.

Disappointed

I bought this thinking it would sound great because I already have two JBL speakers that are brilliant. The sound quality is poor , not very clear and sounds like listening to a radio from the 80s .

I had the choice of receiving a JBL Bluetooth device or a small cash award. I took the JBL device because I've had reasonable luck with 2 others. When I received this, I found out that it has NO PHONE support...although I can hear static in the speaker when my phone is ringing. I found out that this device has no internal microphone so it can only be used as a speaker. Had I know the model number before I said, OK, I'll take the JBL product, I would have said, NO WAY...give me the cash award. Don't make the same mistake. This can not be used as an extension to your phone. Maybe I'll list this on a marketplace app.

Great value! I ended up buying two! I originally picked one up at a local store, thinking I just needed a basic speaker for small get-togethers. It was affordable, so I gave it a shot and I haven’t stopped using it since. I work from home and use it daily for music, movies, and series. Honestly, it’s the best audio purchase I’ve made. I liked it so much that I bought a second one in a different color and gave the first one I bought to my sister for college and now she loves it too.

Packs a Punch

I bought two JBL Go 4 at the same time. One pink and one blue for our girls room and boys room. They link together and play from my computer Adventures in Odyssey for my kids at night as they fall asleep. It is super easy to get them linked and they pack a power punch. Very smooth and steady sound.

I recieved this for christmas... The battery life is great, and holding it means getting to feel the bass, so if you play a song with a lot of bass (take any drill beat, for example), the speaker vibrates in your hand, or anything it's placed on. The sound quality is great, and this thing has a very high Hz and mHz tolerance, meaning you can play just about anything! As the cherry on the sundae, this thing is small and portable, meaning you can take it nearly everywhere! Overall, this is the perfect speaker for just about anything!

It's okay

I've had mine for 6 months now and the volume is good, music quality is good, but the battery life is trash. I grew up with a jbl clip 2 which was the best thing ever, didn't like the clip 3 but was hoping this would fill the void. It didn't. Not only does it not hold a long charge but the music also cuts out sometimes. It comes right back but why is it cutting out at all?? I may have to look to another brand for a small and portable bluetooth speaker :/

Please try this experiment: Charge the battery to 100%, and then listen to music without any bass boosted and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime (7 hours), the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Bluetooth generally works up to 30 feet in ideal conditions, but walls, obstacles, and interference from other devices can reduce this range. If the connection is stable at 10 feet or less, interference is likely the cause of dropouts. Try unpairing and re-pairing your Bluetooth connection, as it may have become corrupted. I had this speaker a month and I'm very impressed by the sound and bass but the rubber around the speaker and buttons is easily tearable and can be easily punctured. My speaker is now ruined because of how fragile the rubber around the buttons are. I'd say they should have stuck with plastic like the JBL go 3. Wish I could Give a better review.
