Impressive! Didn’t know if the speaker would sound good but was impressed with how it sounds, well worth it! Not too big or bulky, have been using it everywhere and with it being waterproof and dust resistant there is no worries. so happy I decided to take a chance!

Not so great

I bought a three weeks ago and it was not that great. I see sound is not very clear. I used jbl before but this was not as good as I thought

The speakers were ordered as a staff gift, the order arrived quickly and packaged great. Staff loved the customized logo and size of speakers.

Small but mighty!

I am a JBL fan. This is the second speaker I have purchased for myself, I have a larger one as well. I had the blessing of purchasing this on Black Friday so the price made it even more fabulous. Great sound, compact, so easy to travel with. I highly recommend all JBL speakers, but this little one is very special.

Downgrade from previous model

Disappointed, I “upgraded” from the clip 3 when the battery could no longer be recharged. The volume with the 3 was louder, the battery level no longer is available in the iOS environment need a separate app super frustrating when speaker cuts out because it's flat😡, Can no longer receive calls on speaker definitely a downgrade. I bought the clip 4 without looking at the competition, I will be revisiting the competition for a speaker like the previous clip.

Our JBL Clip 4 has no speakerphone feature because we have reallocated the cost savings in that decision to focus on improving the Bluetooth software and the sound quality of our units. With regards to the battery level, you could check out the battery LED indicator on the top side of the JBL Clip 4. We appreciate the feedback you have provided. Small Unit, Big Sound

The Clip 4 is small but a packs a big punch. The wound quality is surprisingly very good for such a small speaker. Battery life is long as well; we've run it for hours at a time an it never died. I ended up buying 5 more of these for gifts.

I purchased this speaker because a friend of mine dropped hers in the river and it was finally retrieved 4 days later. That darn thing powered on and has worked flawlessly ever since. It’s been about three months since that happened. I was sold on JBL speakers. This little guy doesn’t disappoint. So easy to pair to my phone and sound quality is great. I will always recommend this brand to my friends.

I am notorious for always breaking my portable speakers but have had this JBL Clip 4 for a year now and it has survived despite many incidents! The sound quality and functionality has been unmatched compared to any of my previous speakers. Recently I accidentally dropped it into my hottub and didn’t realize for 4 DAYS!!! I thought this would surely be the end of my JBL.. but despite the 96 hours in 103 degree, 4ft deep water… IT STILL WORKS!!! Amazing. I love JBL products

Wont Charge

If this light doesn't appear, please try to use a different Type C USB Cable and ensure the charging port is free from bent pins or debris. Too much bass, not a good speaker for podcasts.

I bought two of these to put in our showers to listen to podcasts and morning radio. The speaker is very biased towards low frequencies- so if you want to play music with TONS of bass then you are good to go. But if your goal is to hear clear audio in the spoken voice range then this speaker will likely disappoint- voices become muffled.

Doesn’t get as loud at the Clip 3. I like the size and ease of pairing, but I bought this speaker to use while I bike and I find it doesn’t quite do the trick.

Clip is weak

I used this speaker for snowboarding, I would clip to my gear and listen to music as I boarded. Unfortunately the clip got weak over time (less than one year!!!) and it fell off while I was boarding and I was unable to recover it. Clip isn’t strong or secure

Don’t personalize

The speakers are amazing and although I haven’t tested this one, because I’m giving it as a gift, I never should’ve had a personalized. I used a picture that was way too dark and it looked amazing on the sample but it’s barely distinguishable on the actual product. I wish the personalization feature had through an error, or been more realistic on what it would look like..

A great upgrade from the Clip 3. HIGHLY recommend. I broke my Clip 3 after many years. I like the customization aspect and like the idea that i could upload an image. Havent tested the battery life, but have to think this will be a great upgrade as well. Love that it is splashproof. I dont plan to take it underwater, so splashproof is just fine for me

I followed my son's advice. He has been using JBL products (speakers, earbuds) for several years. He picked out the perfect product for me! I am highly satisfied with not only the JBL Clip 4, but also with the entire customer experience! From ordering, tracking the shipment, to discovering the JBL Clip 4, which is perfect for me. It is compact, easy to carry, looks cool and most of all, provides excellent sound quality! POWER BUTTON BAD LOCATION

A great speaker, although the power button is in a terrible position. I clip it onto my bag for hiking or playing disc golf and when walking occasionally it'll bump my arm or bag and turn off. I hope with the next iteration they keep that in mind.

Poor Clip Design

The Clip design is very poor. The rubber clip wears out and tears easily. It broke down within two weeks of buying it. The speaker falls off my golf bag frequently.

Shortened battery life after three months.

I bought this a few months ago and have been completely impressed with the compact design and excellent sound quality throughout my ten-hour day. However, the last few days it has been dying after six hours. I find that unacceptable. It's either a malfunction, or the battery is already dying. A loss of four hours play time within three months due to battery issues has caused much disappointment. Too bad, because I really liked it.
