Flimsy and poor quality

First item I purchased, the application slide was broken on opening. Took it back and got a replacement only to have the thing snap as soon as I tried using it. Very flimsy and poor quality for the price. Very disappointed that a quality company would carry such an inferior product.

Proform Treadmill accessory kit

The applicator foam strip is to flimsy and broke it should be made from plastic not cardboard inside. Won’t be buying again.

Treadmill oiling kit

The product was great except the sponge on a stick that was used to apply the oil. It wasn't strong enough to move up and down the mat and broke easily.

I found that it was very difficult and the rod snapped very easy

What a waste of money!

I purchased this kit as I needed to lubricate my treadmill belt. This was the only way I could buy treadmill lubricant from the place I purchased my treadmill. The foam applicator broke seconds after the first use. It was such a waste. Rebel sport told me I could only buy treadmill lubricant on eBay or online. I have since found spray treadmill lubricant from Sports Power - they were very helpful. So don’t waste you money on this inferior product!

Not Profrom branded but this is the right kit for their treadmills

Just for those who may have a similar experience on receiving this kit; The image on the box looks very different to the contents. I couldn't see Proform or any other brand clearly marked on the box. In tiny writing on the bottom is ICON Health & Fitness Inc. I began to wonder if I'd been supplied an inferior product so I phoned Prorform before opening it. They said that ICON is a parent company of theirs and confirmed this is the same kit they sell and is the right kit to use for their treadmills. The contents does look like the image shown here and on the Proform site. This is no fault of Rebel Sport.

Poor quality

We used (or tried to use) this product just once. The cleaning stick snapped into multiple pieces rendering it useless. For a product that cost close to $50, I would have expected better quality.

3 sachets of lube, and applicator to get right under the belt, a spray bottle of cleaner and a wipe. For the price would have liked more lube.

It's a great treadmill. Just don't understand why there is a stop button and not a pause button. Sometimes I have to pause and when I come back it's reset my time on the treadmill

Flimsy applicator makes this bad value

I was very disappointed with the flimsy quality of the foam board to apply the silicone to the treadmill mat. It broke the first time using it so I had to dismantle my treadmill cover to retrieve pieces from under the mat. I already had mat cleaner and silicone so the applicator was the only reason I bought this kit. Very disappointing and I’m still left wondering how to regularly get silicone under the mat for good maintenance.

The tool to apply the oil broke on the first use. You only get two sachets of silicone oil. I ended up buying oil on eBay and using my hands to apply.

I needed to use all 3 packets of silicone within 3 days. Treadmill lasted 30-45 mins before needing to reapply. The applicator broke on the second day. Better off buying a bottle of silicone.

Low cost item high quality service

I had yhe treadmill, purchased from Rebel a few years ago, serviced. I was told the treadmill belt should be cleaned and oiled after 20 hours use, so off to Rebel again to purchase the kit. The assistant at Rebel showed me what I needed, explained how best to use it and discussed frequency of application. He spent 10 minutes talking to me for a very low cost item. I left the store thinking what outstanding customer care... well done the team at Rebel Charlestown...

Room for improvement

This is a decent product in terms of the quality of lubricant. The application process, however, is not as straight forward. Placing the strip underneath the belt to apply the lubricant to the treadmill is fiddly and occasionally the strip has snapped. I much prefer the applicators which have a thin tube extending out to reach underneath the belt and apply the lubricant that way.
