Assembly

Fairly straightforward assembly. You do need 2 people to get the unit unpacked and move into the room. After that, it can be a 1-person setup. Leave yourself plenty of room until complete. Some of the final screws are from unexpected angles.

We Love our Recumbent Cross Trainer!

My husband and I are in our early 60's and got on a healthy diet earlier this year but still needed a little more improvement with his diabetes and my cholesterol numbers to keep from adding medications. First, your instructions were the best I've seen in a long time. I could understand what I was supposed to do to easily put the cross trainer together with a little help from my husband for the few steps where two people were required. Second, it is a great quality product - very well made along with a very good price. Third, we enjoy using it and have continued to improve our health numbers and even lost some weight. My husband had to have surgery for a brain bleed December 11. He's been home from the hospital now five days and has already been able to use the cross trainer on the lowest setting twice. Thank you so much for making our life better!

Yes, I recommend this product.

“Elli” is my new best friend!

I was still struggling to regain strength & stamina after extensive neck surgery when winter set in & it wasn’t safe to walk outdoors. I searched a long time for an affordable & compact elliptical when I found the Teeter. I cant describe how quickly it helped me on the road to better health. My hips are already stronger after only a month. The recumbent is easy on my spine & back muscles & I have more energy throughout the day. I rarely miss a day working out with my new best friend “ Elli”.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good for a Year

Been using this machine on a regular basis for the last year, and it's been a great way to get my blood flowing everything. But lately I can't seem to use it for more than a few minutes before hearing popping and grinding noises with each stride. So though the machine still operates smoothly, the "whisper quiet" feature is totally out the window.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We really appreciate your feedback and do apologize about the discomfort you are experiencing. I suggest making sure that your feet are positioned high up on the pedals, so you may need to shorten your seat if you're not currently able to do that without locking out your knees. That will ensure a long stride and be easier on your back and knees. If you are still having a hard time getting adjusted please contact our Teeter CS at 800-847-0143 (M-F 8am-4pm PST).

Amazing product … Amazing customer service

This product is excellent. Very ergonomically correct. Fitness nut here living in snow bound area bought to stay fit during winter works great. Got a medical procedure done where I had device implanted in my chest so I couldn’t use the upper body feature. Had to return. Sadie from customer support was amazing and they gave me a very generous return window and were very understanding of my situation. Highly recommend

This is the first exercise machine I can use for 30 minutes at a time. Just 1 morning tv show and it’s over. I modified the seat for comfort but other than that it’s as good as the much more expensive machines I’ve used in hospital rehabilitation centers.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent for recovery to get legs and arms moving safely. Probably designed more for general exercise rather than elite fitness. Frustrated that dropped the price significantly very soon after purchase even though asked about this.

Pros and Con

The product is great. I haven’t exercised for the past few years. So after my workout with my FreeStep LT1 I feel great. Only con is there is no background lighting so you can’t read the time, distance, calories burned or speed. So I use a flashlight. That’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Working out is good for your mind and body!

This is a great concept however I feel that the resistance is too low. I have it set at 5 after a few days of using it and feel that I could easily get it up to 10 (the highest) within a few weeks. This doesn't leave me much room for improvement after that. Very easy to put together using the online tutorial on Bilt. Brilliant app. There is also a bit of a clunk in one arm, which I will keep a watch on. Otherwise, pretty happy with it.

Exercise ease

I love this piece of exercise equipment for once that delivers on what it says it does. Firstly it is whisper quiet and because of its zero impact it doesn’t feel like your exercising. I’m using it everyday to improve my fitness to be able to do more strenuous workouts in the future so I would recommend this to other buyers!

noisy

Makes noise all the time we use it, customer service sent us two different base units plus the original all of which required us as senior handicapped people to assemble ourselves. Then when the new bases arrived we had to disassemble the original and reassemble again twice. There has been no improvement as each base is just as noisy or worse than the last one, we have quit requesting a fix as it is impossible for us to take apart and reassemble the new one. Forget the fact that you have to move the base into the house for assembly and it weighs alot.

No, I do not recommend this product.
