This whistle is awesome!

I recently bought the Fox 40 Pearl Safety Whistle (not the Fox 40 Classic) for coaching. The flourescent yellow colour means that the whistle is easy to see. It makes a fairly loud noise when properly blown and can easily attract attention. It makes a deep, distinct tone and has no pea. I would use this for child and elderly safety and recommend this for any experienced Physical Education teacher.

A terrible whistle. A cheap toy whistle out of the kids party section at Woolworths would be a better sound and value than this. Should be zero stars. Do not recommend.

Expensive and poor

This whistle didn’t work after 1 day, no distinct sound and super expensive too. I’m going back to a pea whistle which are much more reliable and way cheaper. Disappointed.

Great in the short time we had it!

We purchased this whistle for my 11 yr old son to use for cadet reffing for Terrigal soccer. He was so proud to have his own whistle and the Fox was the one recommended to us. Unfortunately he only used it once and it went missing, that's why I couldn't rate durability! My son was very upset, still hoping it turns up!
