Everlast Powercore Freestanding Punching Bag

It really meets my needs although it’s not ideal to use in an apartment unless you live on the lower floor as it can be noisy banging on the ground.

Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Having fun hitting it.

It suits my teenage boy who needs something to release his anger...the adjustable height suits different heights. When you fill up full tank of water, you might not be able to move it so the better thing is to put it where it should be and then connect a hose from tap to fill it. By the way, it starts dropping a little bit sand-like thingings, not sure what that is.

This is a great free standing bag made of excellent quality. Excellent for indoor use. My only complaint is that it needs to be about 5 cm taller because of my height. Also slowly moves around with the water in the base so would recommend using sand

Initially filled it with water, only to realise that it really wasn't stable - the base would wobble a lot, and one side would lift. I think it is wrong to advertise that it can be filled with water, because even a medium-strength punch will make it unstable (wouldn't even dare to kick it). So I had to drain all the water out again and buy bags of sand. With about 130kg of sand, it is quite stable. The screw holes are not very well aligned, and it took some effort to assemble (twice - as I had to replace the water with sand). The plastic is meant to flex when you punch it, but it has me worried about the longevity. I do not find it very refined (lots of fine grained plastic 'dust' around the box), and I think it is a bit expensive for what it is. The bottom part of the 'bag' is filled with a ring of simple cheap foam of a different material - I don't know why. The assembly instructions are really not very clear, and more confusing than necessary. The feel of the bag when hitting it is very good - not too soft, not too hard. All in all, it does the job, and given the limited number of options for a standing punching bag, this is probably one of the better options.

When setting up half the bolts don’t go in and the fome brakes easy.

A little disappointed. Not enough stability when vase is filled with water. Rocks a lot and very noisy. Im 5ft 8 and when adjusted to the right height for me, its pretty much max height and not only am i punching the very top of the bag, the higher the bag is, the less stable it is. I wanted this for kicking too and i darent even try in case i knock it over and im not that strong.

Great product. Sturdy and takes a good punch and kick. Doesn't take up too much space. I would recommend filling with sand instead of water as there is a bit of movement with water but still works fine.

This bag rocks when hit regardless of how much water or sand is put in the base. It makes a noise and moves. What a waste of a lot of money. I will think twice before I buy sophisticated product from Amart Sports

So far so good. Have had for several weeks now and has a solid base and the neck is flexible and strong. Filled with water it moves around a bit, but is still usable. Would fill with sand for best stability.

Overall a good product but if you are strong the base is not heavy enough ( even if completely full with water / sand ) to withstand hard punches.

Good ignorant you’re 5’8 and under. Any taller and it won’t last for you. When’s adjusted to the maximum height, only two little plastic prongs hold it up inside. One already snapped off after only 6 weeks.

The kids love this. As we have 5 teenagers in the house, it’s perfect for them to box.

- Easy to punch with adequate flex - Body is easy to disassemble (efficient to store parts away to prevent weathering) - Sand highly recommended. When punching with water, it seeps out through the screwing and splashes out from sections that don’t have screw points.

Very good enjoying it only thing is we payed a extra $10 and never got it reimbursed or something sent in its place

Excellent budget option freestanding bag bought it for my kids and it's taken everything they can dish out would highly recommend

I believe water does not work well and the bolts come loose

I have never been so disappointed in a product. The height changes with every power punch. The screws keep falling out. Do not buy this piece of rubbish.

Dreadful. Centre broke after second session. Highly recommend you do not buy. I returned mine within days for a full refund. I was extremely disappointed as it took quite the effort to build.
