Great stand, which enabled me to continue boxing training during lockdown and while working from home. Assembly: Easy to assemble with clear instructions (I did it alone). Use: I use it with a 4ft bag and swivel (no chain). Height: I’m 175cm tall and the height of the bag while attached to the stand is good for both high and low hooks and body shots. (If I was using a chain I’d probably need to remove a few links.) Stability: Needs weights to stabilise it, even for soft hits. I threw on 2x25 bumper plates and it doesn’t budge with anything I throw.

Sturdy enough without weights but would be needed for especially hard hitters. All parts fit together nicely and assembly was easy. Not too tall.

Solid and easy to put together stand.

We bought this through click & collect at the start of Sydney lockdown. The pickup process was a little messy with staff not sure where to find the order etc but they figured it out soon enough. The stand is solid and easy to put together, even with one middle aged mother attempting it. We purchased a punching bag elsewhere but it hangs on the stand well. Kids and I are happy & belting out our covid frustrations.

Great stress reliever with a workout thrown in!

I was really surprised with the great quality of this stand. It is a great design and is extremely solid and the base is wide enough that it doesn't interfere with your positioning and footwork. It does need weights added to the front pins if you are using it to develop power as it can scoot a bit but this is not an issue, a couple of foam gym mats underneath helped as well. The whole family are very happy with this new addition to our home gym and rate it a solid 5 out of 5.

Good for static work

Overall, the stand is of good quality. I hang my 5ft bag on it fine - just make you use the right fixtures so it doesn't unhook. As is the case with any stand. Weights are needed if you don't want it to tip when kicking hard (there are pegs for this), or bolt it to the ground. Unfortunately, the space is narrow between the feet. This makes it difficult to work around the bag (and if you use weight plates, there'll be less room) If you're someone who is happy with on-the-spot training, it's great. However, if you want to practice footwork and movement around the bag, this design is really restrictive. Unfortunately, I don't have a wall or ceiling for a more suitable stand.

great except for the critical component

i bought this two weeks ago, and i keep coming up against this annoying issue that interrupts my boxing session. The hook that the bag hangs off of keeps getting loose when the bag spins, even a little bit. You have to land every punch dead on otherwise the hook will fly about, an annoying design flaw.

This heavy bag stand is trash, any kind of force applied to it and the swivel breaks the loops and the bag at best stand at 5ft 6 so its like sparring a midget, I wish I never bought it.

Disappointed, too low, only suitable for children.

Bought this a few days ago, disappointingly bag hangs way too low to be functional. Tried with chain hanging set and 4ft bag, top of the bag was lower than chest height. Then removed the chain, top of the bag still below eye height (and I am only 5ft 8) If you are tall, forget about it. Between the frame, bag and hanging set, spent close to $500 and it would suit a primary school child only. Pretty much wasted my money.
