This beach shelter works because of the sand pockets. We used it in a moderate breeze, and it quickly began to drag the sand pockets sideways under the influence of the breeze, causing the whole thing to lean and threaten to collapse. We dragged the pockets back a little further and built a sand wall on the lee side to stop the drag, and it worked. I would suggest the pockets be made bigger to hold more sand and be more stable. But having said all that - IT WORKED and we will use it on future trips to the beach.

This was a fantastic purchase. We had no awning on our hired Camper and needed beach shade. This lightweight totally transportable Gazebo did the job amazingly! It withstood some very high winds without any problems. So easy to put up and pack away, we used it everyday. Worth every dollar.

Only used it a few times so far and hasnt been windy so can't comment on that yet. So far has been fantastic very quick and easy to set up and pack up. You can even set up and pack up alone. Very light weight which helps with carrying it the beach. They have put lots of thought into there design and it shows. Very convenient shade
