I have not put it together yet so I’m hoping everything is in the box but it seemed like a bargain so I snapped it up for my new house ($500 member price instead of $999) I have not moved in yet so I have not put it together but hopefully it does the job so keen to put it up

Sent used and damaged machine

I was so excited to receive this machine however when I did finally get it and open it up. The machine had been obviously used before, it was covered in a thick crusty white substance and the machine was partially assembled in the box. Due to the machine not being completely taken apart and then being posted to me quite a few parts were all bent together. At first rebel seemed happy to assist promising me new parts (as the machine arrived damaged and has a 1 year warranty) however now rebel has decided they don’t want to do that and I need to get the machine back to them myself. When I advised them how heavy the machine is and it would be impossible for me to bring it to them myself they have ignored me. I was so hopeful that they would assist me however. They have let me down. The ACCC is now dealing with this. So buyer beware.

Excellent piece of equipment. Very smooth operations and easy to setup. I bought the adjustable bench which compliments the Smith Machine. I actually cut the ends off the weight plate holders so they could accomodate holding/storing standard size weight plates.

Easy to use and assemble, great machine and good value. Unsure how much the bar weighs but other then that we are happy enough. Not a fan when using a heavier weight thr frontnof the machine lifts slightly we need to weigh it down with weight but this something bolting to the floor would fix which we cant do.

The Smith Machine was reasonably easy to put together, there were times when another pair of hands would have been useful, but I managed to complete it on my own. It works really well, feels sturdy (as it should) and does what it is meant to do. No concerns on my part with any aspect of this purchase.
