the lid to the bottle was falling apart, had to glue back together and the insulation is sub-par. i recently went from the 950ml version of this bottle to this one. the insulation on the 950ml i found to be a lot better

Hubby wanted a big thermal water bottle for Christmas and this delivered! He loves it and the water stays cool for hours and hours. the only *down* side is you have to be vigilant in putting the cap on properly, otherwise it leaks, but once you get the hang of it it's fine.
