Warning: doesn't fit 25 mm threaded barbell.

Doesn't fit 25 mm threaded bar. There's a warning on the back of the packaging stating this, but I missed it. Wasted $20. Going to try and shave the rubber a bit to make it slide easy, otherwise will have to fork out more $ for a slightly bigger size.

Don't last long enough

Not too expensive & easy to use, but they don't last very long before their grip / tightness / strength reduces (a few months), through to being virtually useless after 12 months.

Great product

Very easy to use and simple design, great purchase. I really prefer them because they are more convenient to use then the usual collars. There is no need for screwing them on the bar, you just need to push them in place and lock them.

Lock collars that don’t lock

Doesn’t work with 10kg weight plates, the clamp isn’t strong enough so the weights can just push the locks straight off the bar. This is obviously pretty dangerous as you don’t want a 10kg (or more) weight dropping from any height. Complete waste of money.

Change your standard weight plates quicker with the easy lock collars, when moving up or down weights on the barbell, they are not as tough as the Screw collar locks should the bar tilt to one side the Easy lock collars will not hold a significant amount of weight however using them helped to build confidence in maintaining a stable a balance core during barbell exercises, as apposed to not using any collars at all.

Quick plate change...potential issue for heavy use

These are for standard bars and not olympic bars. They make for changing plates much faster than the standard screw ons. They feel secure enough for most home uses...but apply moderate pressure and you can actually move these without unclamping - which might be a worry for heavy plate security on the bars (not sure if just my bar)

So much better than the other spring style - just make sure you get the correct size - Olympus is for Olympus only weights, standard is for all other brand weights.

Not much can be said about weight locks. They are intuitive and easy to use. However these ones, give that little extra character, just a simple throw of the lock and it comes loose, throw the lock back into position and boom you got yourself an easily locked weight without the worry that it will come off.
