Assembly of the the of the weight bench

In all aspects it works well and is easy to assemble. I find it a touch too high , I am 180 cms if the bench was 2-3 cms lowers I think it would be better . Also nota big deal but the factory should pay more attention to the welded fittings in the seat as I had to bend them in the vice to get them to line up and add a couple of washers as spacers. Looks good now though and it works quite well.

Minor issue with bench seat

I bought this over Christmas as it was on sale. The build quality is nice, welds are tight and bench is stable and it's compact and light, so you can store easily. My only gripe is that there seems to be an engineering flaw in the design, when you sit on the bench you feel like you're sitting at a slight angle and it's because the pin mechanism is too tight and it pulls the seat down to the left. It triggers me a small amount every time i use the seat to do seated exercises. I went to a few stores where this bench is setup after i had purchased it and every bench has the same issue from what i could tell. For the price point it's still a good bench.

Missing Parts

The package is missing 2 bushings (bushing 13 should have 4 parts but there are only 2) and would like to have the 2 missing bushings sent so we can finish building the bench.

Awful piece of equipment

Bought this bench 2 weeks ago I do not recommend, bench isn’t stable becomes wobbly a day after you tighten it back up isn’t very safe when lifting heavy loads. Also bench took 3 weeks to arrive and came in a damaged box I don’t even know how you’re allowed to sell such a garbage piece of equipment

Great value for money!

Great Product. Fairly easy to assemble. I've been loving my workouts. If you are thinking between a flat and an incline/decline bench - think no further - go for a bench that will help you with more angles. Its a good investment and not worth saving the extra money. This is quite compact and tbh, I neatly tuck it away after my workouts. I'd recommend this product.

Installation and safety.

When installing it is best to have two people helping each other to make process easier. Once installed the product is comfortable and easy to use. Must be under the weight of 125kg for safe use.

With the recent lockdowns, I was trying to find reasonably priced gym equipment to maintain a form of normalcy. I came across this bench and was sceptical at first, after putting it together I was still unsure. I did my first workout and boy did it feel good not having to use a chair. I’ve rated it 5 stairs purely from an emotional side and it does do the job, never had i been excited to put together an item. It doesn’t go fully upright in a seated position, but from a useability and cost perspective it does the job and it does it well. Make sure you have an adjustable spanner to put it together.

As someone else said it’s un-even. Few bangs and modifications I’m still using it can’t say I’d recommend it to anyone and would not buy again. Better off saving the same amount twice and buy something decent.

Does its job as a bench, incline and decline. Doesn't go to 90° upright, but if you void the warranty and throw a couple of bolts into the back you can create another footing that will give you the full upright posture if required.

Loud clicking noise when under pressure

We bought this bench about 2 weeks ago when it was discounted to $179 as an addition to our home gym. since we had been shopping with Rebel for a few years, we thought this deal is too good to pass up. On the first day of training we noticed 2 loud clicking noises when the bench is inclined und put under pressure. Initially, we were not too worried but they only seem to get louder after a week of using it almost every day to the point that we are afraid that something is about to break causing injury. I had made a video but Rebel only allows Youtube videos to be added. The noise is from the bolt that is attaching the backrest to the bottom main frame and the one where the support bar is attaching to the backrest. One you sit down and press your back against the backrest, the bolts move around and create that sound. Note, the bench was assembled following the provided instructions using the right tools. The noise is loudest when the backrest is at a 45 degree angle. I did some research on Rebel benches and they seem to have a history with faulty benches. It can be found under PRA number 2019/17401 on the product safety website of the Australian government. We can't recommend this product and think it will break over time.
