Smell and will probably rust

They're fine, but being cheaper Chinese items there are a couple of minor issues for me. The rubber has a strong smell, and the metal bar has an oily coating. I'm assuming the oily coating is there to protect the metal from moisture and oxygen. This leads me to believe that these will oxidise and rust over time after you've used them and the oil has rubbed off. Definitely made from cheap materials.

BEWARE the rubber

I left these on a leather ottoman for an hour after unpacking them and they left permanent stains. Extremely unhappy and concerned about what the rubber is made from if it can have that impact in such a short space of time.
