Older design is better

The older design of these weight plates had a larger smoother metal insert in the centre which is much better for holding in your hand if using them as hand weights. Current design has a sharp edge. Pics show both designs. Does the job though if just using with dumbbells or barbell

It's definitely a 1.25kg plate. I like the bright colour. Lost a star because the yellow rubber coating peels a little bit, especially around the hole in the middle.
