I wanted the barbell to complete my Bowflex workout equipment. I have the biggest Bowflex machine, the dumbells, and now the barbell get a complete workout. At 75 yrs old I need to keep my strength up as it will decrease if I do not workout.

Extremely happy with this Bowflex SelectTech 2080 purchase

We are extremely happy with this purchase. We are just getting our home gym set up and we don't have a large room so this Bowflex SelectTech barbell with curl bar is perfect for us. Everything in our home gym is from Bowflex. This item has all the functions of a traditional bar with free weights but it takes up minimal space. It Allows us to change weights with just quick turn of the wrist and additional weights can be bought and added if needing higher weight. The curl bar is my favorite. The grip and bar design are very comfortable to use regardless of a beginner or professional. I would highly recommend this to everyone. I only wish we would have known about this sooner. #sweepstakes

I use this product during strength training workouts 5 days a week. I was looking for something with a decent amount of weight that was sturdy with a small footprint without a bunch of plates around. I just started using it and so far it has met my expectations and was just what I was looking for. The only real con is getting into the groove with racking the bar just right so that it locks in to the other weights and stand correctly. It's just a matter of finding the sweet spot.

I use this for bicep curls, chest presses, squats, etc. It works fantastic and is a nice space saver living in an apartment complex. The set up takes a bit to dial in, but once it is, it's easy to use and very sturdily constructed.

Over the last 30 years I have been very active in the Gym. 5 days a week automatic. Unfortunately now a days the gym is packed with youngsters. Because of this I've set up shop in my garage. This was delivered with missing pieces. It was difficult to assemble and the instructions were not very good. The plates fell off during my first try, and it took me about 6 hours to organize. The return policy was not easy, and they wanted me to pay $200 to have it picked up. It was delivered on an awed essay, and I returned the next day on Thursday. This is not a good product, but the idea is good.

There is a learning process curve for assembly unless you are mechanically inclined already, there is also a break in period where everything doesn't fit perfectly at first but eventually everything will fit together smoothly; my only issue is that my dial on my easy curl bar doesn't match the weight that I select

I bought the dumbbells at the beginning of the pandemic which at first did the classic thing and didn't use them yet after a year I've used them repeatedly and regularly. Now I'm on the barbell and super excited to increase my workouts with more options at home. Will be purchasing the bench and added weight soon. But must say for a parent who is at home with kids it's a great way to not miss the gym. My girlfriend loves to use them and my 6 yo son wants to become a bodybuilder. Thank you Bowflex, look forward to new additions in the future.
