Aerobie Pickleball Set

It's not just a game; it's a total mood lifter. Picture this: kids, adults, and even the grandparents engaged in a friendly pickleball match in the backyard or by the beach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the opportunity to try the new swimways pickle ball set from spin master. It comes with two regulation sized paddles. These paddles have a good weight and grip, similar to the adult ones I’ve used in the past. They feel pretty good quality. I would be concerned about the use of these wood paddles near water. They say they can be used on the beach, which lead me to believe they mean they can be used near water. This being said, the seal along the edges of the wood does have defects, were water could easily seep into the wood, and cause warping and splitting. I wouldn’t use them near water, so I’d suggest this more as a park or indoor gym toy personally. The print of the paddles is beautiful, and fun! The print is also bright so it will be easily spotted when it’s time to put it away. This set is fun for the whole family, the paddles hit the balls well, and the balls being yellow make them easy to see. The small ball is rather small, I feel like it could get lost easily as it bounces quite well and travels easily. Although the small ball is a soft flexible plastic, the speed it gets when hit could be painful if it hits you. If you’re just starting out I’d suggest starting with the large ball, this is the ball style I’ve used in the past, and I find the holes help it lose speed.
